sects regarding issues of music and pictures.I have requested engineer ali mirza
bhaii sahab to please use the intelligence that ALLAH has blessed him with and
give detailed lectures on these 2 topics.I have also requested him to deliver
detailed lecture on banking and riba issues with their practical solution.MASHA
ALLAH Ali bhaii is a grade 19 officer at nesom.A mechanical engineer by
profession but he has been blessed by ALLAH.He has great knowledge of quran
and ahadis.Any one can benefit from this great truthful unbiased and brave
scholar/researcher(note:he is not a formal student of any madrassah and follows
quran and sahih/hassan ahadees)

My dear Muhammad ali mirza brother:I did a research/comparative study the
issues of music and pictures.
I have found out after talking to different grand scholars/researchers belonging to
different sects that there are differences of opinion among scholars of same
sects also.
Sir i am sending you the replies of all scholars one by one,and i think that ALLAH
has given you great intelligence and you are MASHA ALLAH really haqq parrast
and brave researcher.I am very much hopeful that after reading all the views of
scholars you will be in a much better position to prepare 2 deatiled lectures on
the issues of music and pictures.
Now please carefully read the views of scholars:
syed azmat hussain shah gillani barelvi 0331-5008455 0321-5275251
moseeqi is harram li ghayrihi it is not harram li zaatihi.Had music been harram li
zatihi then it could never have been allowed on the events of marriage,jihad and
eid.
He recommended book of imam e ghazzali and said that the ahadis are not so
strong with regards to asnaad to prove the music as totally harram.
About pictures he said that the condemned pictures mean statues.He however
said that if someone makes a picture of a man with hands then probably it may
be harram.
Ghulam mustafa zaheer ahle hadees 0300-5482125
he said that all musical instruments are absolutely harram.Duff isnt a musical
instrument.Recommended book of ibne qayyam and said that the view of ibne
hazzam is rejected since it is shaadh,and he said that ahadis are very strong
rather reached tawatur.
He said that all pictures including modern day camera mobile pictures all
harram.He said that even camera pictures are not AKS but these are also the
pictures and get saved so harram absolutely.

which calls music instrument as a cursed voice.

Nothing is harram except few things which are categorically made harram in
quran and sahih ahadees.There are few evils which make a thing harram.
He said that although muhaddisin have always been very strict against all music
instruments but he said that according to his view the use of an instrument
makes it harram.

There was almost a consensus among all scholars that music without
instruments is allowed with few conditions/sharrait.
There was also almost a consensus among scholars except very few scholars
that all music with instruments is absolutely harram and forbidden.
Most of the scholars were of the view that music is absolutely harram since
music is called music when it is played with instruments.
There was almost a consensus among all scholars that in dire necessity like
tabligh e deen propagation of religion passport identity card it is allowed to make
pictures.
There was almost a consensus among all scholars except very few that ahadis
which curse music and pictures are sahih.
There are many other grand scholars whom I tried to contact but couldnt since
their mobiles were off.But majority of the above mentioned scholars are grand
muftis/hadis scholars although I havent written mufti or muhaddis with few
names but it doesnt mean they arent muftis or muhaddis.Except very few most
of these scholars are senior grand muftis and grand muhaddisin.And even those
who arent grand muftis or grand muhaddisin they are definitely experts in
comparative study research and have a lot of study.
