sign an exchange slip once your
business has been concluded. Oh

NEW BRAZIL UFO SIGHTING POLICY

when it comes to UFO sightings!
Brazil, usually known for its beautiful
soccer and women, will soon become known for
UFO sighting policy. The country has ordered its
air force to document any UFO sightings and make
the data available to researchers and the public.
The government decree said all military
and civilian pilots as well as air traffic controllers
should register any UFO sightings with the
national aerospace defense command. The
information will be stored in the national
archives in Rio de Janeiro.
Anything unusual that is seen,
photographed or video filmed in Brazil's air space
will now have to be reported and catalogued. That
doesn't mean that the air force will be chasing
UFOs.
“Air force command does not have a
specialized structure to carry out scientific
experiments on these phenomena and will limit
itself to recording any events,” the air force said in
a statement.
There have several reports of UFOs in
Brazil in recent decades. In 1986, air force jets
were scrambled to investigate unidentified
objects in the skies above Sao Paulo, but the

increasing injury rates.
As the AFL Commission
prepares to cap the use of the
interchange bench - probably to
80 for each team in a game - Port

Eade opened the coach's
rejection of restricting interchanges
by calling the Laws of the Game
committee's options as "bulls...".
"None of the above," he
said when asked which of the three
options he favoured.
"They talk of capping it at 80
and that includes changes made at
the breaks," he said. "It's crap. How
can you include changes at the
breaks? It's bulls..."
Eade warns the capping of
the interchange will stop AFL teams
from carrying a second ruckman
changing off the bench.
"The second ruckman
might be in danger," he said. "So,
you're actually changing the
position of one player and he might
struggle to get a game.You may go
for a running type rather than a
second ruckman.
"It will become more of a
fitness-based game rather than
repeat speed. So therefore you
recruit a bit differently.”

Ablett gets one more chance to shine
It may come down to gut feel
rather than form or attitude for
Gold Coast to determine if Nathan
Ablett is worthy of an AFL
contract.
Ablett has been on notice for
the past month to prove his worth to
the Suns and secure a spot on their
2011 list and possibly alongside
older brother Gary, who is heavily
tipped to join the fledgling club from
Geelong.
However, Nathan Ablett has
missed the Suns' last two VFL
matches with a virus, after being a
late withdrawal against Werribee at
Southport on Saturday.
With only one match

McKenna says he and the club's
recruiting guru Scott Clayton will

the scoring system which would
see a goal awarded if the ball went
through after hitting the post.
"It actually came from a
couple of clubs. That was the
suggestion to try to alleviate this
issue around the scoring,"
Demetriou told ABC1's Offsiders

"I don't like it. It's worth
getting looked at.
"But I don't know about
hitting the post.
"Some people have already
commented that they like it and
there's lots of others that don't like it."

Knights says the proposal "takes
away the theatre of the game".
Demetriou says it is only a
coincidence that this week's AFL
announcements of a series of rule-
change proposals came after a week
of poor goal-umpiring decisions.
He says he is also against a
video-review of contentious scoring

minimise our errors. We've had
three or four (goal-umpiring)
errors in the last couple of weeks.
"But I think in the main our
goal umpires do a pretty good job."
The AFL has three options
for putting a limit on interchange
rotations, which have become a
key tactical ploy.
Two options involve
substitute players and one is a cap
of 80 interchanges per match.
The league is concerned
