SAFETY NORMS AND GADGETS IMPLEMENTATION AND INSTALLATIONS
Dear Parents,

We feel privileged to reach you through this message to make you feel assured of optimsed safety
and security in our school campus and surroundings when the whole nation is raising its eye brows
over the sad happenings at schools in different parts of the country.

Pon Vidyashram condemns such in human behavior of persons who are ruthless and barbarous.
Most of us have read such heinous crime happenings in the country or even world over.

Children are spending most of their time in school and the concern of parents about the safety
of school children is increasing every other day. It is a fundamental right of a child to engage and
study in an environment where he or she feels safe and is free from any form of physical or
emotional abuse or harassment, the CBSE notication said.

Pon Vidyashram Management is committed to SAFETY AND SECURITY of students in the

campus till they leave the premises. Even though, CBSE has issued safety guidelines through
News Papers all over India, we feel duty bound to assure and let all parents know that all the
SAFETY GUIDELINES prescribed by CBSE are followed already in all our schools.

A LOOK AT THE NEW CBSE GUIDELINES FOR SCHOOLS:

CLOSE WATCH
CCTV CAMERAS SHOULD BE INSTALLED ON THE SCHOOL PREMISES.
Our school premises and all surrounding locations are installed with CCTV Camera
on live surveillance.

SECURITY AUDIT OF SCHOOL PREMISES SHOULD BE CONDUCTED.

School premises are monitored by Senior and Middle level ofcials during arrival and
dispersal of Students.
All entries are screened by proffesional security personnel round the clock.
Lady Staff members are posted at all Rest Room areas to ensure safety of girl and children.

ACCESS SHOULD BE LIMITED TO OUTSIDERS.

All visitors are allowed with Entry Pass control issued at the gate only.
SELECTION AND TRAINING
POLICE VERIFICATION IS A MUST FOR ALL STAFF MEMBERS.

Every Staff member is recruited after full verication of his / her antecedence.

SUPPORTING STAFF SHOULD BE HIRED VIA AUTHORIZED AGENCIES.

We have our own supporting staff members and not out-sourced.

STAFF SHOULD BE TRAINED TO PROTECT CHILDREN FROM ANY FORM OF ABUSE.

Regular training programmes/meeting are conducted for all staff members - both teaching
and non-teaching, to refresh and reinstate safety norms in school premises.

We have a strong Administrative Team to takes care of safety and address any general
grievance of parents and students.

A suggestion cum grievance box is kept in each branch where parents drop their written
grievances or complaints.

While managing Safety and Security of students in school campus, we would invite parents
also to contribute and support the School Administration in accomplishing innovative plans.

So, the Safety Management Team has recommended the following key regulations that
the parents should come forward to implement in the school campus and premises.

1.Parents should restrict themselves at the Gates for pick up/drop of their wards near the
Gate only (except for KG Children), so that the Administration will have a clear
control over restriction of strangers or any intruder.

2.You may say 'NO' to meet any teacher without the prior permission of Principal
or Co-ordinator.

3.Parents have to bring in the custom / practice of coming to school in Formal decent dress
so that your children will feel proud of their Institution with dignity.
Knee-long dress may be avoided.

4.Crowding the Two-wheelers near the Gates may be avoided of even if,
you have to park the vehicle 100 meters away. This will help quick and easy
movement of more number of children conveniently.

5.Stop giving high value / tech mobile and jewels or hand gadgets to your wards.
This may stop all unwanted and serious troubles which otherwise your child may invite.

6.To the extent possible avoid unknown Private operators for transportation of children.

7.Restrict giving cash to children for their expenses which may be misused by them.

This is issued in the total and wholesome interest of the happy and bright future
of your wards.
