Department Highlights from 2016 to Present:
Specialized equipment and training received in the last year: Through a grant
made possible by the Helmsley Charitable trust, we received a LUCAS Device
Chest Compression System, and the necessary training to use it. This
equipment, along with AED, will greatly improve a patients odds in the occasion
of a cardiac event. Most recently, we also received a Great Wall Grain Rescue
Tube through a grant program sponsored by Nationwide Insurance. Along with
this equipment, training was received from the National Education Center for
Agricultural Safety.
