Research Interests and Praxis

Fine Art: especially drawing (printmaking, illustration, cartoons and comics)

Poetry and short stories: around themes of politics, race, sense-of-place and
landscape especially diasporas and a sense of belonging. Eco-critical works
focussed on environmental issues. Family and identity themes related to the
white working class.

Music: Performing songwriter heavily influenced by southern U.S.A. folk, blues

and country.
