For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is
written: The righteous will live by faith. Romans 1:17
FIRST DAY: Read the notes and the references.
1. What was meaningful to you in the lecture?

2. What help did you receive from the notes?

SECOND DAY: Read Romans 1:18-20.


3. Define the word wrath, and explain from these verses why God is revealing His wrath at the present time.
Wrath is extreme anger. God is revealing his wrath against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress
the truth by their wickedness

4. a. What can we learn about God from the natural world, and how can this encourage your own personal worship
and conversations with unbelievers?
Things about God has being made plain to the wicked people that way through by God Himself. This encourages me
more knowing that the understanding of God from unbeliever has been made that way by God.

b. What can we not learn about God from nature, and how may we learn these necessary truths?
We can not learn about his eternal power and divine nature. We can only run this truths through the word of God

5. Define the word suppress. What results of suppressing the truth do you see in your own life and what will you
ask God to help you do about it? How might that impact others who suppress the truth?
Suppress: to end something by force. When i Suppress the truth i normally experience resistance and great stress. Am
praying to God to help me never to suppress the truth.
Those How suppress the truth will experience the full wrath of God and wont know about God

THIRD DAY: Read Romans 1:21-23.


6. From these verses, how has humanity rejected the knowledge of God that His creation reveals?
Humanity neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, they exchange the glory of immortal God for images
made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

7. a. What is the first result of rejecting God, and why is this consequence appropriate?
Thinking becomes futile and hearts darkened. People become foolish.
The consequence is appropriate because God's creation cannot be wiser than God

b. What has God done about light in a dark world, and how can you bring Gods light to those around you who
live in darkness? (See also John 1:4-9; 8:12; Matthew 5:14-16.)
God sent His son Jesus Christ to be the light of the world. You can bring God's light to the people giving them word of
salvation through Jesus Christ.

You can bring God's light by having good deeds that glorifies the Lord in heaven

8. In verses 22-23, what exchange has humanity made, and how do these verses, as well as todays world, show this
exchange leads to degrading practices?
Humanity has exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds
and animals and reptiles.
People are worshiping Idols and animals in the name of God. People practicing witchcraft instead of seeking God

FOURTH DAY: Read Romans 1:24-28.


9. a. What truth about God do these verses indicate humanity has exchanged for a lie?
They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creatorwho is
forever praised. Amen.
b. What substitutes for God could you be worshipping or serving, and how would your life be impacted if God
removed those substitutes?
Sometimes serving earthly relationship and cultures. My life will be impacted positively if this substitutes are removed
from me since i will be free of their bondages and serving God fully

10. What are some of the reasons God links the sin of idolatry to sexual immorality? (See Genesis 1:26-27; 2:24-25;
Mark 10:8-9; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, 18-20.)
1. God created man in His own image
2. God ordained Man and woman relationship in marriage as one flesh, No one should separate what God has put
together
3. People having this sin will not inherit the kingdom of God
4. Sexual immorality sin is committed in the body and the body is a temple of God.

11. What phrase occurs three times to describe Gods action, and how does this repeated phrase change your thoughts
about those who seem to get away with immorality and injustice?
God gave them over.
Since the unbeliever are like that by choice, it is God who have made them that way later to face judgment with God

FIFTH DAY: Read Romans 1:28-32.


12. How is a depraved mind different from one that does not think it worthwhile to retain knowledge of God?
Depraved mind, do what ought not to be done. They are filled with every kind of wickedness

13. Share how God has changed your thinking about a sin of which you previously approved.
God has really changed my mindset in terms of what i used to occupy my mind with, Sometimes i used to have very bad
thoughts and i kept worrying a lot, mainly it was imaginary things.

SIXTH DAY: Review Romans 1:18-32.


14. What have you learned about God in this weeks study? How may your group pray for you as you make this truth
a part of your life?
I have learnt that God has made the unbeliever binded and those He has chosen He has made them know Him
