Q7 Programme in Helsinki. You have had presentations on different topics e.g. Innovation, school management,
support for students etc. Mention shortly in the comment box which presentation was most interesting for you and
what you have learnt from it.

INNOVATION: the most important is the wellbeing of the child, so the school must make, as I saw in Finish schools, everything in its
power the student to feel free, happy, welcomed, appreciated, encouraged. The relationships between pupils and between pupils
and their teachers are the Keys for this wellbeing. We can provide in our school open and flexible learning areas, as I saw in
Finland. I love the fact that the teachers are empowered, trusted and appreciated by everyone. The other aspects, as the Policy
Plan, the Currriculum and school's authonomy, its freedom, we will do our best to spread in Romania what we have learnt in Finland
and to apply them in daily school life.

Q8 Programme in Helsinki. You have observed lessons. What did you learn most from the observations.

The freedom of the students, innovative way of organizing the class, innovative ways of teaching ( tablets and learning platform
used by all students),a good atmosphere, interaction, participation and involvment. Students lessons are tied to real/ daily life.
Teaching by using heart and soul, not only brain. The nature is the one of the best teachers( outdoor lessons).

Q8 Programme in Helsinki. You have observed lessons. What did you learn most from the observations.

All the students are engaged in research themselves. We have to prepare children for life. The schools are small enought, so
teachers know every students.Well trained teachers. No inspections, test, uniforms. The teachers are free to set their own
Curriculum, compared to our schools which must work/ adhere to the National Curriculum. I can say that the Education in Finland is
based on learning rather then testing. The pupils are encouraged to stay at the same school for many years .Not so many
homeworks, short hours ( only 45 mins.), everything is based on thinking , not on memorating. The courses are held in Labs with not
so many pupils.

It would be very helpful to have time for workshops with other participants andvindividual reflection to sum up each day and put my

Quite frequently it was hard to concentrate on the programme because if lack of time for the toilet/ coffee/ water/ a snack.

I would like to thank you all for a very interesting week, i have thoroughly enjoyed it and met lots of lovely people from all over
europe. In the future i would encourage you to hire a bus and take participants to school so that time isn't wasted in travelling and
so that participants are not so tired. This is a major factor in whether i attend another event or whether i send my teachers to one.
More time for reflection with colleagues could then be fitted into the programme.

It was quite tiring to observe lessons, getting to know the school environment and having sessions and group work later on until 4 o'
clock. I would recommend to have the post observation sessions the next day or at the end of the week.
It was a unique experience and I would like to repeat it in the future. Thank you.

The presentation of Martti Hellmann. Inspiring, learning, values for me when I come home to my own school.

In the first (primary) school: the trust, the safety, the easy way children know how to do their work, using all spaces in the building.

Little treasures in the school we were on Fridaymorning like te role of the students, the learning skills and the way they are proud of
their school, how far they are with the integration of ICT, the pleasure in the classrooms, the easy way students are acting, the
respect to their teachers.

a little break earlier (especially in the first two days).

I can not slect any of the sessions or lectures. In the set, and after de lecture os M. Helsstrom the motto was to find the great

Participatory decision; full autonomy to the school management; competition at municipality level, not at the school level.

Q7 Programme in Helsinki. You have had presentations on different topics e.g. Innovation, school management,
support for students etc. Mention shortly in the comment box which presentation was most interesting for you and
what you have learnt from it.

Dr Martti Hellstorm's presentation on new curriculum. I like the way he explained that less is more and that children have enough
time to be outside and learn in forest. Also, I like the freedom of choice that is given to both teachers and students.

Q8 Programme in Helsinki. You have observed lessons. What did you learn most from the observations.

I learnt that there are no strict rules in Finnish school system. Also, it is usually teacher who does all the talking in class not
students. I was suprised to see that teachers of foreign language speak their mother tongue . Although the discipline is not so strict,
students behaive good.

Q9 Methodology of the course. Was there a good poor

balance between the 4 parts of the course
(presentations, classroom observations, sharing
information, working on own outcomes).

Q10 learnt about the various characteristics of the good

Finnish educational system

Q11 Only for participants who had programme in Tallinn. You have observed lessons. What did you learn most
from the observations.

I learnt that their school system is totally opposite to Finnish one. They use ICT much more in lessons. Their students are brilliant at
English. Although they said it was an average school, it appeared to be school for gifted students. They seem not to have problems
with discipline and no special need students. They are well organized and they prepare their students for entrepreneurialship from
the first grade. They teach them social skills.

Q12 Only for participants who had programme in Tallinn. You have had a presentation in Tallinn
university. Mention shortly in the comment box what you have learnt from this presentation.

I have learnt a lot about Estonian school system and about Estonia.

4.set. 2017 - Dr. Martti Hellstromz. For me this presentation is most importante because we can have to realize how and
it's the way Finnish schools get to work for the success as well as how teachers have shown themselves to be open to change

Presentation of the Martti Hellstrom; His presentation was very useful and interesting, especially when he talked about Integration
steps, New culture in the classrroom ( with diferent colours :-) ) and targets of evaluation.

Q8 Programme in Helsinki. You have observed lessons. What did you learn most from the observations.

I learnt that "Less is more" ???? Students are focused on the essence, not on the facts. They have more freedom in behavior, but
they are not misuse it. Teachers have great freedom of choice and autonomy. Students amd teachers use books, pens, papers and
not just computers.

Q9 Methodology of the course. Was there a good fair
