Summary:
- The source is a video which brings forth the topic of how muslims are blamed for
everything. He speaks about the achievements that muslims have made like inventing
universities. He tries to inform the audience that muslims are just perceived as terrorists
because of what small groups did and not for what they are capable.

Evaluation:
- This source is useful for my claim because my research on religion's impact on societal
interactions is supported with some of the topics the video covers. The overall message
of the video is to look at people with a new light and not what the world has provided. I
plan to use this video as an example to show how one religion being targeted is
equivalent to targeting all religions.

Reflection:
- The main thing I learned from the video was how one particular religion is targeted solely
out of prejudice and fear. The impact on society by Islam is so great but in a negative
way for the majority of people in the US. I loved how this video incorporated the
achievements made by muslims and how those should be put forth and showcased.

Summary:
- The quote by Yogi Bhajan speaks about how religion has been twisted to fit the means of
a person. Instead of respecting it and using it to be a better version of himself, people use
it as a means of demeaning others. Bhajan ji is trying to make the reader realise that they
shouldnt use religion as an excuse for their faults against hurting other people. This
quote by Bhajan ji is followed by an article that goes into depth about how many
religions there are around the world and what the future may look like as well as how
each religion has a connection with each other.
Evaluation:
- This article isnt persuasive but it is worth reading because it doesnt target a religion or
make another look better than the others. It simply informs the reader about how people
these days interpret religion in a manner that isnt mentioned in their holy books. I intend
to use this to explain how as people progressed, religion has been getting twisted and
used in manner that it is not intended for. I will go in depth about it on my research paper.
Reflection:
- What I learned through this article is that religion isnt the main player in the way people
treat each other but that it is the person himself and how he interprets the religion and
applies it to his life.

Summary:
- The article classifies religion in three categories; universal, ethnic and tribal. Then it
explains the four most practiced religions-Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism-
and how they impact the world. The author also mentions how Buddhism is the most
practised religion in China because of Communism. This article informs the reader of
how distributed religion is and evaluates it origin and what group of people practice
them.
Evaluation:
- This article was not very useful because I already knew most of the content the author
mentioned. It was convincing however because it gave another perspective to how
religion affects people just by where they are living and the conditions they live in. I
might not use this source in my paper because it isnt very in depth with how the four
main religions influence the world or the place its heavily practiced.
Reflection:
- After reading this article I learned that religion is classified in many ways one of them
being put into three groups like this author did. I also learned that some religions are
practiced a specific way because of when and where they originated from. These
correlate with my topic because it they show how some people use religion as an escape
while others use it because their ancestors have been using it.

Summary:
- This source is a research that was conducted to see how religion influences a person
sociologically and psychologically but heavily looks into how an individuals religion is
linked to their culture and beliefs. It goes in depth with how religion, communication and
culture revolve around each other as well as how this makes a person who he is.The
article is an experiment that evaluates the correlation between religion and an individual.

Evaluation:
- This article is one of the best because it is not biased and just provides facts and details
about the correlation. I plan to use this article to show how this correlation has a direct
effect with they way people of different backgrounds interact with each other now.

Reflection:
- I learned that religion is not only integrated in culture but in the communication as well.
The research goes in depth about how tv shows are interpreted based on religion, like
novellas and Bollywood. This article really connects with my topic because the whole
research is heavily revolved around how religion impacts society.

Summary:
- This article mainly focuses on how religion directly impacts an individual's life and the
various ways people live these days. The author heavily dwells into how being a religious
person helps improve married life as well lower rates of divorce, domestic abuse, and
many other modern day problems. In the end the author argues and tries to persuade the
audience that the Constitution should address the freedom of religion and define it so that
people dont use it as a means to demean others.

Evaluation:
- This article is very convincing when it goes into detail about how religion has a direct
correlation between the individual and his life as well as the people that come into his
life. That is the only point I would use in my paper because it emphasizes my research
topic. I probably would mention how the author is trying to change the constitution but
not heavily dwell into it.

Reflection:
- I learned that there are people who heavily research how religion impacts a persons life
circle and the people he becomes connected to. Religion has a direct connection to a
happy successful life and that a lot of the main modern day problems can be solved by
going on to a religious path.

- This source is a picture that describes a nun and a muslim women and how one is
oppressed while the other is given high respect. The artist of this sketch tries to brings
light to the problems that muslim women face in society today by comparing her to a
nun. Both follow the path of their respective religion but one is pre-judged because of
past events while the other is given high respect because she has nothing bad associated
with her religion.

Evaluation:
- This source is useful for the message it is trying to send. I can use this to explain the
problems that people have to deal with just by their appearance.

Reflection:
- I learned that people who dress similarly getting judged on the basis of their religion.
