the UPSC civil services exam next year.
Please understand that, those who are preparing for the exam with a job in hand are
far more better placed than those who are preparing full time because of the
uncertainty of the exam process. So Please come out of the mindset that you are at a
disadvantage (very important). Your Discipline and Professionalism will be on higher
scale compared to full time aspirants.
For a detailed strategy for Prelims and Mains i have posted some links below.
Joining coaching or not is more of a personal decision. If you have access to good
coaching at an aordable price you can join them as it will keep your preparation in a
good direction.
If you can manage to keep yourself disciplined, then you can start preparation on
your own, spend some time in the eld. Within 56 months in the preparation
process, you will understand the diculties you will face and you can approach
people/coaching for help/value addition.
If you do not want to join any coaching there are various blogs available online which
can guide you step by step and some good souls are left on Quora too to help you out
:-)

for prelims, u need to read NCERT books. just visit anyone of the above mentioned
websites. there u wil get enough infos and strategy. All the best

Its good u are not considering leaving the job. So rst to quickly answer some of ur
points, If u personally know a capable guide (mind not a tutor) then dont join
weekend coaching. Coz if you are dedicated and determined u just need someone to
tell u how to grow crops instead of someone who feeds u with spoons.
There is no 'how' just begin, start reading static and dynamic contents. Keep visiting
Mrunal, Insights on India, see discussions in Forumias, go thru Laxmikanth and what
not. Also have a look at unacademy's 'actual content videos' as u don't need any
motivation coz for u that pain in ur a## due to living double life of an aspirant and
working professional is enough to keep u motivated.
Strategy is clear u have got only one life, limited attempts and millions of opinions
just stop caring about any.

I think nothing is impossible.. You can do prepare for Upsc but it needs much focus.
And after having 10 hours of work it wouldn't be a good idea that you can give your
100%.so you should focus on one thing. Otherwise it would be worthless. But where
there is will there is a way.. So you can manage your time routine on Sundays and
holidays. Be optimistic.

well cover everything from standard sources and move to other subject only when
the previous one is fully completed..we will not give any advices..or any
motivation..because thats already available on youtube in abundance..we believe in
completion.example if we are covering polity then we know that we have to read
laxmikanthu know thisu even know how to read itcan u do it in 67 days even
if u r reading it for rst time?..YES..u can..well do it with you..each and every
chapter..each and every page..not any summaryeverything from standard source
well read all neccessary ncertseverything will be covered..
again we emphasize on the fact that if u have already joined some coaching or u r a
senior player, then this course is not fr u and please dont diverge ur mind in dierent
directionsfocus on what u already havewhatever material u have read etcthis
course is for beginners.or all those who want to start from scratchwho are not in
delhi and are preparing in isolation...who dont know anything about UPSC or want a
friend..a guide to help them sail through the examnothing fancy here!!
