The impact of globalization in the world and Albania.

The next time you enter on internet, or go to buy something at the supermarket, or buy a
new car have a look at the products you will buy. They all are part of globalization. This is our
real life made of different food, technological, communicative and cultural products. This is
globalization a communication between countries in order to create a better economy with
varieties and one of those countries is Albania. It is called 1globalization and its definition
is: The development of an increasingly integrated global economy marked especially by free
trade, free flow of capital, and the tapping of cheaper foreign labor markets. But is it all right?
Do we have a perfect and completed life? Do we have a better influence from the new-coming

products? Well we totally can agree that this is all we want, we want internet to chat, cars to
travel, mobile phones to communicate, we want also new exotic fruits and we can say that it has
had always positive effects.

To start with, its effect has made a great deal in developing the technology and therefore it
is considered the richest period of all times. Internet was one of the most amazing inventions of
our planet. My mother usually speaks on Skype with my sister who lives in America. This is a
great step in improving the communicative ways between all the countries around the world.
Television is the other one we were looking for last three decades. Yesterday I saw the Avatar
movie at home on 23D. No one could think that this could be possible but it is a fact today. No
one could believe that one day Albania would have four telephone companies such as: 3 AMC,
Eagle, Plus, Vodafone. Another super revolution was the manufacturing of cars. Today we have
more than 12 big companies that produce every year new products. These are definitely great
benefits that we have undoubtedly used for our interests. In short, internet, television, telephone
and cars were some of the most important inventions during technological development.

Secondly, globalization is a positive thing because it emphasizes the increase of economy.

It is an important fact that some 4international corporations are playing a significant role in
increasing the worlds economy. According to statistics, 20% of industrial and agricultural

output of the earth is produced by international corporations. This percentage is considered by
the experts in a gradual increasing and according to them it is expected that in 2020 it will go up
to 35% of industrial and agricultural output. This is superb news for our global economy. As a
result, international corporations, which are part of globalization, are increasing the economy
more and more every day.

In addition to, globalization itself is a good thing because is a good way to exchange
cultures between countries. We have a variety of foods now days in the entire world. It is a real
fact that here in Albania we have a mix of Italian and Albanian cuisine. After some observation it
is spotted clearly that the new musical trends (6Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop) coming from the USA are
creating a musical globalization. Another point of culture exchange is the new-coming
languages. This is creating a rich vocabulary with new word entries in our national dictionary

borrowed by other European languages. A7 Chinese Proverb says happily that: Learning is a
treasure that will follow its owner everywhere., and one of these cases is the use of the word
Ok .Every country in the world use this word and Albania is one of them. It is the best
example to say what a great benefit that globalization has given to us. There are many positive
effects of globalization including: food, musical and language widespread everywhere.

On the other hand there is a disadvantage going for globalization. It is deepening the
gap between the 8Third World and the 9Rich World. There are many persons who say that the
Rich World has a tendency to use the Third World for their interests. This is something
supported by 10OIP (Overall International Production). This serious organization says that if we
for instance take 40 countries, 20 of them are the Third World and the other 20 are the Rich
World. The 20 countries of the first group produce 20% of OIP, while the other group produces
80% of OIP. Consequently, the globalization is making the poor person to feel like slaves of the
Rich Empire. Moreover, this difference between these two different worlds makes the poor
people to look for other economical interests. One of them is the production of the paper, made
of wood. That way those people are cutting the trees and causing the deforestation. To conclude
deforestation and the low production of OIP are the negative effects of globalization.

However, globalization has a superb effect on bringing the society together wherever they
are.11 Anthony Givens used to say:The Globalization is considered as the unity of the global
society, also he stated that It also should be understood as the way of the ordering the societys
time and space, it is a phenomenon which makes our society more collaborative and with no
differences. In order to dont leave misapprehension for the audience, we need to understand
that this quotation means a global communication and the person, whatever he is, and however
he is its part of 12 social globalization. This goes also for the countries of the entire globe that can
make each other involved in this amazing natural process.

To sum up, globalization is a global communication between countries and their people in
different aspects such s:Technology, Economy, Culture and Society. Now lets make a
revision of the questions at the introduction of essay. These questions were: But is it all right? Do
we have a perfect and completed life? Do we have a better influence from the new-coming

products? After all the advantages we have said I think that it is useless to think that the
globalization is a bad thing. Now look at your pone and think that without this phenomenon it
would never come at your pocket. Now do you still believe that it globalization is a bad thing?

while social changes generally occur as a result of those activities. Social globalization pertains to human interaction
within cultural communities, encompassing topics like family, religion, work and education.
