The Word Cherubim
According to the Jewish Encyclopedia
the word Cherubim is the Hebrew
translation of the Assyrian word Kiribu
that means to be near
Kerubu is the Yoruba translation of the
word Cherubim
Kerubu is much closer to the Assyrian
word Kirubu translated Cherubim in
Hebrew
Hence the K & S designation of the church
