Study Plan for PhD Studies

The boundless possibility of trying out and the instant knowledge of the outcome that
stimulates one for further analysis of a rationale in question, is what I find most appealing
about project Management. Keeping up an inquisitive and explorative attitude, I believe,
leads to a constant learning process. This approach adds to the already immense potential for
innovation that exists in this field.

I appreciate this opportunity to provide further information in support of my application for

the PhD program. My learning interest is to do research in the field of project management to
analyse its different parameters and impact on business and economy. To study project
management precisely is what I want and I believe that further education would satisfy me
and give me desirable knowledge as I want.

As I have completed my Master of Business Administration specialization in Finance from

BAHRIA University Islamabad, Pakistan in September 2016 with a CGPA of 3.08 out of
4.00. I have completed my Graduation in Economics & Finance from International Institute
of Islamic Economics, at International Islamic University Islamabad, Pakistan in July 2012
with the CGPA of 3.3 out of 4.00. I was an active somehow indulgent student among others
during my studies, very often involved in many curricular and co-curricular activities. If
observed by the meritorious efforts I remain very competent and I have passed all entrance
tests conducted by the academic institution of my education with high achievements. I did my
final year thesis on Capital structure and firm performance, impact analysis of automobile
industry of Pakistan. Capital Structure of a firm effect the performance and market value of
firm. In this thesis, I learned and researched about optimal capital structure and performance
of firm affected by the capital structure decisions. While working on this project I found
strong motivation in myself towards research study and research in the area of Applied
Economics. At present, I also worked as a Finance Associate in JOBS Group (implementing
partner of USAID & GIZ in Pakistan); my jobs major responsibilities include; Coordinate
with banks, Assist in closing of accounts, Preparation of monthly expense report, Assist in
identification of weakness and issues in system and provide recommendations, Annual audit,
Keeping update record of payments, Check and post monthly transactions, Review all
purchase orders and assist in budget adequacy. Currently I am employed by Harmony
Technologies Pvt Ltd, as a senior accounts officer. Harmony Technologies is implementing
partner of Punjab Skill Development Fund and provide technical skills trainings.

I want to study further and complete my PhD in related field to refine my knowledge and
skills in my areas of interest. I believe it will also serve to give direction to my goal of a
career as a research professional at an academic or commercial, research-oriented
organization. I intend to pursue a PhD degree in order to reach that goal. After completion of
my PhD I hope to be able to take part in maximizing my countrys research in such fields to
benefit its economy and enhance the living standards of my compatriots.
Thats why I want to get the admission in your esteemed University so that I can improve my
knowledge and skills.
