ABSTRACT

In this experiment we used foliar application of zinc sulphate in four doses viz., control, 0.25%, 0.5% and 0.7% on three
wheat varieties viz., K-307 (Shatabdi) K-9107 (Deva) and K-9351. The total treatment combinations were twelve. It was
found that the foliar application of zinc sulphate @ 0.5% doses was found significantly higher with grain yield (51.3 q/ha),
protein (13.1%), C:B ratio (0.030) as well as net return of Rs. 70250 q/ha in response of wheat variety Shatabdi (K-307).
The other varieties Dev (K-9107) and Mandakini (K-9351) were placed 2nd and 3rd, respectively for obtaining returns with
same treatment combinations.
