Lists

How to use:

Day 1
--Introduce new words to child. Read out the words,
have child write the words in her/his spelling work-
book.

Days 2-4
--Start each day having the child read out the week’s
spelling words.
--Practice using words in sentences.
--Practice writing the words in sentences.
--Write each word on an index card.
--Have child alphabetize the words using the index
cards.
--Have child type the words on a computer.
--Spell the words out loud.
--Look up words in a dictionary. Write definitions.

Day 5
--Spelling test.
