GEARBOX DATA 30-CVR-09 - Agglomerate Stacking Conveyor Motor

Manufacturer : SEW-EURODRIVE na RPM Ma Max

Model KH107/T AM180 1480 / 56 7200 Nm
S/N 20.7384294901.0001.16

Frame Size 180M

Motors current draw with CVR-07 flow @ 700TPH is 20 Amps (about 56% of Full Load Current).
Current Carrying Capacity for cable 35mm is 130 Amps and we could neglect the voltage drop if the current draw less than 50% of the Current
Carrying Capacity.
Existing Motor Torque approximately 120Nm for the same Torque Output with 4 Poles motor we need to double the Motor Capacity to 50HP
Existing Conveyor speed is 1.5m/s with trajectory of material close to the edge of the supporting frame, with twice the speed we will expecting more
distance on the trajectory.
Motor Torque calculation (simple methods) as follows;

Existing Motor Torque approx.. 120Nm (2 Poles) If we replaced with the same size motor with 4 poles (double the speed),
the torque will be approx.. 60 Nm (half the existing)

With the 50HP motor we will have the same Torque as the existing With 30HP motor the frame size still the same and we will give the
required torque to run at 700TPH (56% of existing).
Followings is simple calculation of Conveyor Belt Power requirement (data input as per data from CVR-09),

WEG Motor Data for 2Poles and 4 Poles

Recommendation,

From the quick calculation if we want to change the motor from 4 Poles to 2 Poles we need to upgrade the motor size at least to 30HP which will run flat out
and the motor frame size still the same.
