GENERAL DESCRIPTION CONSTRUCTION
This type of hoses are designed for the transport of Main carcass
crude oil and petroleum product used for loading and Main lining / Inner tube: Smooth, oil and fuel
unloading Vessel at offshore moorings Systems. A resistant pure seamless and extruded Acrylontrile-
Single Carcass Hose consists of the three main Butadiene-Rubber (NBR)
elements of lining, body and cover, which terminate Safety lining: special construction to prevent defects
over an end fitting. or damage cause by incidental tearing or superficial
damages of the main lining

Oil retention channel: the 2nd carcass is construct-
ed around the 1st carcass to contain any oil escap-
ing from the 1st carcass. The two carcasses are
quite independent

Reinforcements: Multiple plies of high tensile textile cord
Outer cover: smooth black, syntethic rubber, resist-

LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM
Furthermore, in a case of failure of the primary carcass, a
visual indication system in each extremity of the hose will
become visible, giving additional confirmation of the failure.

All tests according to OCIMF 1991 4th Edition
and Customer detail.

Test
 certificates issued by our internal quality
control in accordance with UNI EN 10204 3.1 B are
included free of charge. If required we can arrange a
3rd Part Inspection carried out by any independent
inspector IACS member.

Description
The leak detector system has been Idle - No leakage
developed for application on double
carcass hoses.
Double carcass hoses, known on
the market, have the characteristic
to be realized by a primary resistant
carcass with a secondary carcass
that wrap around the whole of the
first.

Between the carcass so it is to

form a gap.

This indicator allows to detect the

presence of liquid leaked from the
first carcass and held in the gap
between the two carcass.
In a case of failure on the primary
carcass, the visual indication Sezione A-A
system in each extremity of the Scala 1:1
hose will become visible, giving
additional confirmation of the
