FIRST DAY: Read the notes and the references.
1. What was meaningful to you in the lecture?
Principle 2: Only total obedience makes us righteous before God.

Its only when i totally obey God's commands that am made righteous to Him

2. What help did you receive from the notes?

1. Pg2. In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the prophets.
Gods kindness is intended to lead me to repentance

SECOND DAY: Read Romans 3:1-4.

3. a. What expectations might the Jews in Pauls day have had about their spiritual advantages? (See also Romans
2:6-29.) What expectations of God do you have concerning any spiritual advantages you may have?
Paul has carefully explained in Romans 2 that the possession of the law or circumcision will not save a Jewish person. Jews
had advantage of been Gods chosen nation
My expectations to God is to forgive me sins having believed in Jesus Christ as my Lord and my savior

b. Why was it an advantage for the Jews that God entrusted them with His very words, and how is Gods Word,
the Bible, a great advantage for you?
This was Jews prime privilege, that they were Gods library-keepers, that this heavenly treasure was concredited to them.

The God's word the Bible is a great advantage to me for it guides me through my daily life and also it has a lot of wisdom
for life challenges and way of doing things

4. Try to connect the promises God made to the Jews with Romans 3:3-4. (Some of the promises are found in Genesis
12:1-7; Deuteronomy 30:15-20; Jeremiah 31:35-37. There are several interpretations.)
1. no one should say promise of God had failed toward him, let us examine our heart and ways, and find that we have
departed out of that way in which alone God could fulfill the promise.
2. God is true, and all men are false. We are to believe Gods truth if nobody else believes it.

5. Ultimately, who is responsible for a persons sin and unbelief? Why? (See Psalm 51:1-6; James 1:13-14.)
I am responsible to my sin's and unbelief.

For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one

THIRD DAY: Read Romans 3:5-8.

6. What human argument did Paul expose as wrong, and why was Gods wrath justified?
If my unrighteousness will demonstrate Gods righteousness, how can God judge me?

God's wrath was justified

It is no credit to you that God brought good out of your evil. You stand guilty before God.

 7. What should be the believers attitude toward sin, and how does your attitude toward sin compare with your
actions? (Use any Bible passages you wish to support your answer.)
Believer's should always be alert that sin separates us from the love of God and it draws God righteous judgment to us.

FOURTH DAY: Read Romans 3:9-18.

8. a. From these verses, what are the promised effects of sin, and how have you seen these effects in your life?
1. Paul calls virtually every part of mans body into guilt. The throat, tongue, lips, mouth, feet, and eyes are filled with sin
and rebellion against God.

my Flesh desires are into guilt and filled with sin's and rebellion against God

b. What words in verse 13-14 reveal how seriously God views our speech? What warning do you receive about
your words, and what specifically will you ask God to help you change? (See also James 3:5-10.)
Our words are full of deadly deceit; wicked lies roll off their tongues, and dangerous threats, like snake's poison, from their
lips; our speech are filled with bitter curses.

Every sin and rebellion against God happens because we do not have a proper respect for Him. Wherever there is sin, there
is no fear of God.
9. According to verse 18, what sin appears to underlie the sins in verses 13-17, and how does this passage show this
root sin is true of people in both Old and New Testament times?
This root sin shows people have no fear of God

10. What does it look like to fear (have a reverent awe for) God?
To fear God is to obey His commands and demonstrate our lives according to His Holy word

FIXTH DAY: Read Romans 3:19-20.

11. What does Paul conclude in verses 19-20?
For no one is put right in God's sight by doing what the Law requires; what the Law does is to make us know that we have
sinned.

12. a. What does it mean to have every mouth silenced and the whole world accountable to God?
All have sinned and fallen short of God's glory and will be accountable to God

b. How has the study of Romans helped you to identify, confess and repent of your sin?
The study of book of Roman has helped me to identify my sins especially the sin of judging people. I am practicing not to
judge people in my daily practice and seriously ask God to help me achieve this goal

SIXTH DAY:Review Romans 3:1-20.

13. What have you learned about God in this weeks study? How may your group pray for you as you make this truth
a part of your life?
1. For no one is put right in God's sight by doing what the Law requires
2. Wherever i sin, i demonstrated no fear of God.
