Curriculum Learning Area e.g. English/PE/Hist Health Year level: mixed Time started 9.30-
10.30
Curriculum Content taken from In room 6, students come from various backgrounds, disabilities and
Australian Curriculum, IB or SACE year levels. Although according to the Australian curriculum students
should be on a year 10 level, they are actually on a year 1 and
foundation level in Health. During this placement, I will be focusing on
Health and Nutrition in order to teach students about healthy and
unhealthy food choices and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Achievement Standard or As a result of engaging with this lesson, students are working towards
Performance objective the achievement standard/performance objective.

Students will be learning about nutrition and opportunities to


promote health and wellbeing (ACPPS018).
Learner diversity in class e.g. all girls, :In this class, students are mixed year levels with a variety of different
mixed year levels, students with disabilities, E/ALD disabilities and difficulties, cultural backgrounds, ages and genders.
gifted, ATSI etc.

Adjustments used in response to learner : Students will be taught the same concept of healthy eating and
diversity benefits of a healthy nutrition. However, individual tasks will be
modified in order to fit each students needs and abilities.
