Christopher Columbus was an explorer from Italy. He sailed from Spain to the Americas
on three boats. On October 12th 1942, he arrived at the islands of the Bahamas and then went
to Cuba. On his third voyage, he landed on America.
Actually, Columbus was not looking for America. He only wanted to sail from Europe
to Asia. Spain wanted to trade more with Asia, so the Spanish king gave Columbus money to
go. Columbus and his men found a new world, but they didnt know it.
Columbus started a colony in America and became a governor. Later, he lost his titles,
