Rules to avail Leaves

1. Total 15 CLs.
2. Jan to Jun 7 CLs will be credited, July to Dec 8 CLs will be credited and
Total 15 CLs.
3. Jan to June Un-used CLs will be carried forward to July to Dec.
4. Un-used CLs will have to Forego after calendar year.
5. Pre-fixing & post-fixing of CLs to general holiday is not allowed.
6. If both pre & post Fixing of CLs are done, then the general holiday will be treated as
CL.
7. HODs to permit maximum of 2 staff on leave or Official Duty (OD).
8. Staff going on OD, should submit request letter and leave application form (adjusting
their respective duties) and collect Relieving order.
9. Staff should report back on immediate next working day, else their OD will be treated
as LOP.
10. Relieving order should be submitted to principal, to mark attendance register.
11. No Loss of Pay (LOP) is allowed.
12. day LOP in not allowed it will be treated as 1 day LOP.
13. If LOP in applied, salary will be deducted as 2 LOPs.
14. Pre or post Fixing LOP to general holiday will be treat as total LOP.
15. CCL (Compensatory casual leave) will be credited to his/her account, if higher
authorities demand for work on general holidays.
16. Composite Leaves are not allowed, like CL & LOP, OD & CL, CCL & LOP., but, CL & CCL
are allowed.
17. 45 days is the life span of CCL, during the calendar year.
18. Two 1 hour early permissions per month are allowed, maximum of 15 per year.
19. Five minutes grace period is permitted, later should sign in late register.
20. Three late permissions will be treated as half day CL.
21. Any other rules implemented by principal and management.

Duties and Responsibilities of Faculty

1. Dont forget to Sign in dept staff attendance register.


2. Dont come late to college.
3. No permission during 1st hour.
4. After 9.40 AM, you need to sign in late register.
5. Be present 5 Minutes in advance near the class room.
6. Collect student Roll names and attendance registers from the concern HODs.
7. To prepare the lesson plan.
8. To prepare Question Bank both objective and descriptive, circulate among the
students (each unit 10 descriptive questions and 30 objective).
9. For every class take class notes, duster, chalk, attendance register etc,.to the concern
class room.
10. Faculty should inform about the library requirements.
11. Prepare and go to class.
12. Kindly clarify the students doubts, if any.
13. Let the class be of more interactive.
14. Do not move close with students, maintain faculty student relationship only.
15. To take attendance, immediately once you enter the class.
16. Start the syllabus from the day one of college reopening.
17. To prepare Question paper both objective and descriptive (from the Question Bank
issued to students), 1 week in advance from the date of Mid Exams.
18. Prepare the scheme of Valuation or Answer Key, and display in notice board.
19. Evaluate the scripts as per the key, within two days from the date of mid exam.
20. Distribute the scripts to the students and collect back after verifying their marks and
Display the Mid marks.
21. Submit the valuated answer scripts to the Exam section.
22. Complete all the units and see that the syllabus is 100% covered.
23. Give 2 assignments, Correct and return to the students.
24. To give 1 E-assignment, Correct and return to the students.
25. Conduct seminars by students related to subject handling.
26. Submit the irregular students list to class teacher and concern HOD.
27. Submit monthly attendance to class teacher and concern HOD.
28. To take attendance, immediately once you enter the Lab.
29. Kindly undergo Lab orientation program.
30. To prepare required lab manuals.
31. Inform about the requirement of the lab components, chemicals and lab equipments
etc, to the concern HOD.
32. Inform the requirement of the lab records to concern HOD.
33. Call the student roll number or name and ask the student to submit Record and
observation (Valuate every week during the lab hours).
34. Correct the graphs and observation after the days lab and return their records.
35. Identify low performers either in lab or theory and concentrate more on them.
36. Any other healthy issues.
37. Any other duties assigned by higher authorities.
38. Document every procedure.

Duties and Responsibility of Class teacher

1. Monitor the theory syllabus coverage.


2. Discuss and solve the issues related to students.
3. If any, student is irregular, then contact the concern parents/local guardian and inform
the status.
4. Weekly monitor the class attendance.
5. See that CRs will display proverbs on board.
6. Identify the counsellors and provide the students data base.
7. Monitor the counseling activity.
8. Prepare the monthly attendance report and submit to Concern HOD.
9. Monitor the Lab syllabus coverage.
10. Dress code of students to be monitored.
11. Finally, monitor the overall behavior of students.

Duties and Responsibility of Lab Coordinators and Lab staff

1. Orientation of lab experiments and Documents.


2. Prepare lab manuals (Softcopy and hardcopy).
3. Prepare lab lesson plan.
4. Dos and Donts in lab.
5. List of Experiments.
6. Monitor the weekly valuation of record.
7. Observation weekly valuation.
8. After the completion of each experiment conduction, correct the observation and
concern graph.
9. Monitor the attendance regularly.
10. If, student mark absent, they shall take prior permission from mentor, class teacher,
HOD and principal to attend next lab.
11. Extra labs required to complete syllabus must be planned.
12. Required lab materials like record, manuals, observations are to be ordered in
advance.

Duties and Responsibility of Discipline committee

1. Monitor the dress code.


2. Monitor discipline in class.
3. Monitor discipline in lab.
4. Monitor discipline in Library, canteen and college campus.
5. Conduct surprise check for mobiles.
6. Any discrepancies should be reported to the discipline committee.

Duties and Responsibilities of Class Representative

1. Call the concern staff members, if they have not turned in time.
2. Monitor the class housekeeping.
3. During the lab hours bags and books should be carried by respective students.
4. If students are absent regularly, inform to the class teacher.
5. Display proverb on board.
6. Report weekly syllabus to the class teacher.
7. Do not modify the existing furniture in the class room.
8. Do not allow additional furniture and do not shift the furniture from class room.
9. Provide the counseling details.
10. Any other issues to be informed to the class teacher and higher authorities.

Duties and Responsibilities of HOD

1. Monitor the duties and responsibilities of faculty.


2. Conduct regular dept meeting with department staff.
3. Monitor the duties and responsibilities class representative.
4. Organize dept class teacher meeting regularly.
5. Monitor the duties and responsibilities of class teacher.
6. Class representatives meeting, for fortnight once.
7. Monitor the duties and responsibilities of lab coordinator.
8. Lab coordinators meeting regularly.
9. Take feedback twice per semester.
10. Monitor various department coordinators.
11. Internal squad during mid exams and end exams.
12. Kindly record the minutes of meeting.
13. Any other healthy issues.
14. Any other duties assigned by higher authorities.
15. Document every procedure.

1. Check the college related mails and web sites regularly, once in an hour.
2. Down load the files and submit to principal, take initials and document.
3. Prepare exam related circulars.
4. Prepare Mid exam time table.
5. Any discrepancies should be reported to the undersigned.
