I. OBJECTIVE(s)

At the end of the lesson, 100% of the students will be able to:

a. Determine the types of conflict being used in a given short stories with 90%
accuracy.
b. Define the conflict on their own understanding with 90% accuracy.
c. Create their own story using any types of conflict with 90% accuracy.

IV. PROCEDURE:
A. Preparation stage
Arrangement of chairs
Greetings
Prayer
Checking of attendance

B. Learning stage
a. Explore (activity)
The teacher will group the class into 5 groups with 10 members
each.
The teacher will give short stories every groups and let them
identify the problem in the story.
Select one representative each group to present it.

b. Firming-up Analysis
The teacher will ask the students about their own definition of
conflict.

c. Deepening (Abstraction)

Four types of Conflict

1. Person vs. Person


- A type of conflict where one character may struggle against
another.
2. Person vs. Himself
- A type of conflict occurs within the character, between
opposing tendencies in individual make-up.

3. Person vs. nature


- A type of conflict where a character may struggle against
nature.
4. Person vs. Society
- Type of conflict may occur between a person and the forces
of society.

d. Application
- The teacher will let the students create their own story using
any types of conflict.
