2 Drops of Being

At home, 13th September 2009

I want to explain to you what has happened to me since we

last met and for the purpose of communication, I address this
letter to you in a language that is common to us both in our
present lives.

During the course of my letter, there are many incidents of our

existence together that I will recall, but first, I would like to
take your memory back to one fine day as we lay by a
riverbank and relaxed in the tranquillity of summer’s aura.

It was not yet midsummer, but the light remained late into the
evening as the water insects danced in it’s haze, like moths to
a lamp, and dark shadows lingered across the river bringing
with them the onset of the night.

We shared this tranquil moment with a herd of animals grazing

nearby, their tails swishing menacingly at the small flies that
flew close to them.

When we got up to leave, you walked ahead of me and stood

at the junction where the small path that ran to the edge of the
river, met the main track along the way. You turned around
and looked at me with your arms extended and asked me
which way I wanted to go.

Did I wish to tread along the outstretched path that lay ahead
of that upon which we had already trodden and along which
you would continue, or did I prefer you to return me to where
Drops of Being 3
our roads had met at the cross roads, and pass along in the
direction I had previously been going?

I replied to you that I wished to remain seated at that very

point where we had been resting with the grazing animals by
the bank of the river.

You laughed, but that is where I initiated the meditation I have

existed within since that moment.

I did not request you to take me back to where you had

found me, nor choose to continue with you along that path.
For you had led me to the place where I could wrestle with all
questions and find all answers.

For without a solid foundation of understanding, my capability

to make even one decision was inept.

Each day was a lesson and I paid good attention.

Each moment a challenge and I combated.

I married the devil and fought it, then beat it, then consumed
it.

I let nothing pass me without inspection and so I continued

my life within that higher state of consciousness.

Issues which had been pressing upon my life no longer seemed

important any more as I could see our lives as minute parts of
the whole.
4 Drops of Being

For that great Love we had that bound us to each other could
only procure great beauty and True Love for life and all
mankind.

And we doubled our radiance as we shone together upon

others, just as we could leave our minds open for each other’s
exploration.

For no hidden things can exist within a free mind, as it speaks

with logical explanation and makes no reason out of nonsense,
yet is guided by its intuitive nature that knows its perfect sense,
even though it cannot rationally express it.

Like this, the mind is always honest and balanced within its
various functional attributes.

We must always retain this beauty that Love produces, for it

is like carrying a new spark of the Golden Age, encouraging
others to see the Truth we speak, by just being the source.

So does that blissful age of mankind remain only like scattered

remnants within our memories and myths in the stream of
ongoing mind.

Yet one can only truly love another, if one loves oneself and
that Love can only come through True Knowledge of one’s
Being, that which connects to all.

For it does not want to expand its own island, but the territory
of the whole. So in this way, love of self is love of all.
Drops of Being 5

For Love is the highest form of purification that fills the darkest
corners of one’s being with radiant light.

It opens those doors to the innermost chambers that can only

be unlocked with this key.

When one is loved and loves, they shine with the gleam that
only Love can polish a person with.

Without Love one can never be beautiful, for when the quality
of Love is awake, so does one’s Being manifest on the surface
as a mood of calm equilibrium, a reflection of perfection that
can only be found within a spread of balanced emotions of
which Love is the strongest.

Yet the attitude of mankind is reflected by the system one

finds oneself caught in, just as we are programmed to maximise
our survival within that particular section.

Separation by a system that demands punctual attention, a

meaningless code of living that is only furthering our destruction
as it serves to provoke our weaknesses, is the futility that
most must suffer in their quest for Love.

And we ask ourselves why our lives must be dominated by

such useless tasks that we do not care about, yet find ourselves
dogged with each day of our lives.

So as a result of such illogical circumstance, mankind has

developed its weaknesses, and neglected its strengths and so
6 Drops of Being

has our Mother Earth suffered as a result of our actions.

For we all have a direct relationship with our common Mother

and should collaborate with her rather than largely dismissing
her absolute presence in our lives, abusing her as we see fit
for our gain, treating her like the slave of our needs.

For without her, we shall not exist.

Yet we continue to destroy her, not hearing her cries of agony,

for our ears are now programmed to listen to a different and
false prophet.

We hear only the voice of reason behind our destructive

system, for we have created a new kind of logic that our
programmed minds can understand.

Yet if we care to listen to its never-ending guidance, True

Understanding contained within our minds tells us instantly
how foolish we currently are.

But we cannot hear the Truth, because we have formed

boundaries of concepts where there should be none, living
each passing moment within parameters that reflect nothing of
universal harmony.

Even our emotions are dominated by the swinging duality of

love and hate, jealousy and compassion, sadness and
happiness and so on, but if we look at each of their qualities
Drops of Being 7

as one and the same, we see that all is bound up in the distorted
way of the ‘hate of love’.

Infinity is our capability to perceive beyond Time and Eternity,

our ability to encompass all space and we should be free to
reach our own level, unhindered by the barriers of physical
limitations.

For inwardly we are panicking about advancing towards an

annihilated existence, where nothing can grow and all creatures
can no longer survive within their usual conditions, so we
desperately grasp onto what we have so far procured, at
whatever cost.

So it is the ‘caveman’ existence that we all fear and try to

prevent the return of, which is in fact where the consequence
of that very fear is leading us to, to bottom line basics.

Yet in worldly terms we talk about development, that is, the

development that is procuring our steady decline, a word with
a positive meaning, but regulated by a negative force.

Ending up contradicting itself, thus twisting its cause to its

opposite, namely destruction, it perfectly demonstrates the
unity of duality.

We do not see that development means cooperation with the

Earth in order to advance her particular assets in a way that
could help the survival of all to a comfortable degree without
harming anyone in the process.
8 Drops of Being

For Earth gave us all the components, but we wrongly

interpreted their usage with the selfish part of our human minds,
failing to use Truth as the base from which to create.

Instead, we built our existence around a false god that still

rules our lives in totality.

I shall talk about these matters at greater length, but will now
describe to you a transitory part of my journey through my
meditative state, where I undertook a succession of travels
with a guide that helped me to see the state of things as they
really are.

She had the best knowledge of all and I kept her with me at
all times, understanding her more clearly as I progressed.

First she personified herself in human forms.

And then I saw her screaming at the burns and deep cuts that
we inflicted on her body. And I heard her aching groans within
the wind, trees and plants that tried to cry out against such
destruction.

But her anguish fell on deaf ears as mankind failed to

acknowledge such things…

----------------

…I had had to travel many miles until I noticed the path of my

Drops of Being 9
True Destiny had been at all times just before me, for it was
my inner eye that recognised it, my outer eyes having previously
dominated my vision.

For what do our physical minds hold further than a few scattered
memories of childhood? A flash here and a flash there,
unrecorded in the memory except as psychological
adjustments, behavioural role, in as much, more limpets for
the Inner Being to shed.

So, today, I give blissful thanks to the everlasting Truth that

we have re-found each other and can share another cycle of
existence together.

Even though I want to tell you everything of what happened

to me, I cannot trust my memory to recall events accurately,
the exact facts of which to explain would take too long and
would be much too laborious for my pen.

So instead, I shall tell you a story that will imitate the images I
had when I woke up by the water’s edge that day and stepped
onto the path towards a blinding light…

…until now, until this moment in which we have met again.

And we shall meet again in another Time; of that, I am sure.

10 Drops of Being
Drops of Being 11

 
12 Drops of Being

I came to a small town that lay many miles from the big city.
The sun beat down very hard onto this region and both day
and night ate the same proportion of time.

The roads were not strong enough to hold much traffic and
people, along with their beasts of burden pulling rickety old
carts, carried loads from place to place.

One would see those that did succumb to the difficult journey,
fixing their broken wheels and engines by the side of the road.
Many people would crowd round to view such a scene and
some offered their help in return for refreshment.

Often the earth became too scorched and would fry the small
shoots that made their first appearance just above the ground.

There had not been enough rainfall and local irrigation and
use of ground water supplies were barely enough to go around
the local population to drink and cook, let alone feed the plants
as well.

Yet the people of these towns still sang of better times and
hummed great rhythms that their ancestors had taught them as
they washed their clothes in the local river and hung them out
to dry in the dusty air.

Women talked of many things, whilst the men gambled in the

local bar and got drunk.

There was no work, for the harvest had failed and few could
still afford to go to the bar, now hanging out on the streets
Drops of Being 13
with likewise companions, idle and restless. They began to
pick fights with each other and form rival gangs.

There was much bullying during this period. And the women
too became harassed by the street dwellers.

Then there was news of a factory to be built that would give

them all jobs. They rejoiced at the idea of having money once
again and being able to afford a few luxuries.

But as their jobs changed from builders of the great factory,

to miners and manual operators of this great machine, it proved
physically hard and mentally exhausting, so far distant from
those original promises of “better times” that they had been
given.

All their effort and strength were consumed by their daily work,
where they chipped away at metal contents inside the earth,
spending long hours away from fresh air and light.

Having been manually processed, their findings were sent away

to another destination.

What suffering they endured in order to give themselves barely

a means to a survival that could just about feed self and family.

Even though the bar stayed open, each man stayed at home
after work, hard ached from the physical endurance they
suffered each day.

But they had no other option. For all their small trading
businesses had dwindled into shabby decline as no one had
14 Drops of Being

the means to purchase anything beyond the bare basics.

Accompanying this came a downward spiral of depression

within their hearts, for the dream of each one lay in different
hemispheres to that which they had to physically endure each
day.

There were talents unfound and great knowledge, hidden. For

no man had time to develop his skills nor contemplate his
Inner Being with such pressures dominating his earthly
existence.

And they could no longer find Truth within the ancient thoughts
that had been handed down by their ancestors, for it seemed
that Truth and Beauty that was spoken of within these ideals
was totally incompatible to the worldly existence they lived in.

And so they shoved them away. Some still felt a glimmer of

hope in the old sayings and passed them down to their children,
wishing them to make better sense of them…

-----------------

…I arrived at this small town at around ten o’clock in the

evening and was hungry from travelling along the open track.

Coming across a small hut by the side of the road that seemed
to be offering food and presuming that this was a type of
Drops of Being 15

restaurant, I went up to the door that was wide open and

entered.

A few people sat inside laughing, but lowered their speech as

I came in, turning to face me as I approached.

A woman stood in the frame of a doorway leading onto the

back and beckoned for me to come on through. I followed
without protest, believing that there should be some chairs
and tables there.

But before me lay a small garden of beauty with every form of

fruit and vegetable within its midst.

The trees were tall at the back and their height dropped
delicately down through various smaller tree-like plants and
finally to smaller bushes upon which hung exotic fruits of all
types and vegetables growing at their feet.

There was a still calm in the air as the clear night sky watched
over this haven of peace, so close to the turmoil that
encompassed it.

Holding her arm up to the spectacle, the lady spoke,

“People come here to consume, for we have developed

plenty for all. They arrive at this place and we feed them,
for they have no means to survive without our assistance.
16 Drops of Being

It only takes a few of us to manage such an operation,

and we enjoy sharing our produce, for alone we could not
consume such quantity.

Those you have seen inside have remained late, for they
are telling us interesting tales of other lands and we enjoy
receiving such knowledge.”

We returned inside and were invited to sit among the other

guests. For the first time, I saw that they were all different in
appearance and each spoke a different tongue, which seemed
at the same time intelligible to me.

The tallest of them stood up, taking a long wooden staff that
had been previously positioned behind her, in her hand.

First inviting me to eat in their company by gesturing to all the

dishes that lay before them, she poured some liquid from a
flask into a goblet placed on the table.

As I sat down at the small table, she passed me the cup and I
drank thirstily, a nectar that tasted so sweet and reminded me
of all the fruits I had ever consumed.

She then began to speak with words that transported us to

the scene they were describing, so eloquent were they in her
description.
Drops of Being 17

 
18 Drops of Being

“Drink and eat among us friend, for you must have trekked
a long way down the path to have arrived here.

Not all passers-by notice this small abode, but those who
do receive what they need in terms of their basic
nourishment and shelter.

Others struggle on past, their wits dulled by their weariness

and their thoughts dominated by their basic needs.

They continue in search of survival and eventually reach

their destination, so fatigued because they had not stopped
to replenish themselves properly.

No one can offer them anything there, for they have barely
enough for themselves and those that can, are afraid to
give.”

And at this, she let her words drift,

“I had never believed it possible for the world to reach its

present state.

For it was created so perfectly in form to revolve in total

unison with the rest of the Universe and it had all necessary
substances to sustain all living creatures that were abiding
here.

And so appeared creatures in different forms that accorded

Drops of Being 19

their perceptive state, constant reminders to us of their

heavenly duplicate, vibrations of the perfectly designed
patterns of stars fallen to Earth.

Just as some were big, others were so small that they could
not be seen by the naked eye.

Yet size and description remained relative to the individual

eye.

And so these creatures were physically tailored to suit their

environment, some only to breath in air, just as others
could only do so in water.

For all creatures were contained as compositions of the

fundamental five elements, just as the Earth and Universe
were too.

So did Earth harness the elements to keep her body

healthy, washing herself regularly, allowing the cool and
warm wind to dry her hair as well as enjoying it being
combed by those that reaped the benefit of its fruit that
she had germinated and nourished within her warmth.

And all creatures used their instinct to survive.

For around us were substances in every form that were

available both to nourish all creatures including our own
physical human race and to heal us when we became sick.
Thus we could sustain our existence on Earth.
20 Drops of Being

For all plants came from seeds that were naturally

scattered and fed by the elements and Earth in unison.

Just as the wind would carry the seeds of all plants and
guide them to ground where they may plant themselves
within the Earth, so would they grow in the warmth of
her womb into bounteous forms of fruits, vegetables and
medicines that balance our complete nutritional
requirements.

And she made sure that there was enough supply for all to
survive within their natural environment as well as
providing nutrients to those living organisms that stood
rooted to the ground.

We used the intelligence of our physical minds to turn her

produce into different types of food. Thus we milled wheat
into grain and that into flour and aided by the element of
fire, we made bread.

Mother Earth kept a balance in check of all creatures

too, for the larger ones fed off the smaller ones, each one
turning to a lower category of creatures as prey.

And by eating small shoots and seeds, certain creatures

would ensure that there was not an over quantity of any
particular plant.

Thus she held in perfect place a huge interlocking chain

of balanced food supply for all living entities.
Drops of Being 21

And we humans, supposedly the most intelligent creatures

of all, foolishly created an imbalance within this perfectly
arranged structure.

So the beat that kept this perfect motion in perfect time

slowed down and grew more distant as we stopped
listening to the pulse of Universal law.

For we ceased to realise our existence as part of the whole

as we endeavoured to become masters of the planet, in
doing so forgetting that we were just one tiny part of her
make up.

And as we turned to look at our own human selfish needs,

we installed a false god to rule over us that would allow
one man to retain power over another.

We cut down great forests and burned great patches of

land to feed our ever-growing population and as we were
forced to speed up the process, we built great objects of
industry to process our needs and requirements.

And in our enthusiasm to produce more and at a faster

rate, we created a wealth of trouble, first starting with
the competition for possession of the raw materials
required for production and subsequently the desire to
produce more than the other.

And that great dictator of all humans forced each one to

drive their workforce harder and to create borders around
22 Drops of Being

territories of raw material supply and call it their own.

And some claimed personal ownership of those great

factories that produced at a faster and faster rate, now
not to suffice the growing hunger of the world, but to line
their pockets with more and more of the godly power,
distributing it only amongst themselves.

So, Earth was not fairly represented and only few human
beings gained.

Thus distribution of what we reaped became unequal and

a small minority of privileged thieves squandered as much
quantity as they may need, wasting as much as they were
not hungry.

At the same time, they annihilated many species of plants

and living creatures that had been created to perform a
specific task. Some were exterminated and left a great
void in that part of the great eco-cycle.

Living organisms that had provided another with a stable

form of diet, caused that other one to change its source of
food supply. Thus evolution of form took place at a rapid
rate beyond its normal state of progress and ultimately
many creatures became extinct.

For all food types are in reality a mere supply of energy as

it changes shape from one form into another, sustained
by Mother Earth and proper nourishment for our physical
systems.
Drops of Being 23

Yet these too have become brutally manufactured as a

result of our overgrowing need for food and can no longer
offer us the full power of their energetic value.

For if lovingly produced by the hands and minds that

touch them, we flourish with the balanced spread of natural
properties that certain species of plant and grains may
offer us.

For we become the value of what we eat, feeding all parts

of our system with the necessary nutritional quality of
food type that ultimately transforms into the many forms
of energy that we use in our everyday existence.

But if the plant we eat is poisoned, we too will become

poisoned on consuming it, just as negative energy can
only breed negative thoughts in the mind.

So we became more and more hungry, needing more and

more food as our population expanded, desiring more and
more of the godly strength as our greed was fed by the
delights that we found it could gain us.

And with that, our hunger for knowledge was subdued as

the appetite of our eyes grew out of proportion.

Eventually all physical beings changed to adjust to the

new environment, adapting themselves as Mother Earth
naturally tried to repair herself, spewing new land from
volcanoes and sinking other parts in earthquakes.
24 Drops of Being

In our desperate struggle to seek further intensity of

production, we churned up the Earth to see what treasures
she had hidden below.

But most people never physically saw those beautiful

findings of gold and precious stones as they sparkled
elegantly around the limbs of a few bodies, even though
they had been given by the Earth for all to share.

We discovered hard and fluid substances that could drive

our engines in the factories and our modes of
transportation.

We then found metals and made great ships, aeroplanes

and weapons to fight for our territories that we had
carelessly drawn markers around.

But these were not ours to touch.

For just as a mother hides dangerous toys from her children

so that they may not harm themselves with what is
potentially dangerous, knowing that they do not
understand the correct usage of the implement, so did
Mother Earth keep these hidden within her, intending to
reveal them naturally at the surface only at a time when
man was capable of using them correctly.

And we built great factories to produce what we perceived

as human necessities from these supplies of mineral and
nutritional wealth, and we needed much of it, transforming
all we could find into some usage.
Drops of Being 25
And our administrative machine was vast and covered
the Earth.

But we took this too far, creating many unnecessary items

and producing much waste. And we burned that waste,
just as we burned great quantities of fossil fuels to power
our establishments, pollution for the precious air space
that we were forced to breath.

So the atmosphere and rivers of the land began to die as

our drive to produce more and more continued.

And thus we ungratefully returned those gifts of Mother

Earth with none other than sickness that now flows in the
air she breathes and the body she drives, not fully realising
that we are an absolutely inseparable part of her.

We had set ourselves a task, but in our haste had

abandoned the rules of safety, thus creating not wealth,
but a deep-rooted and widely spread cancer that the system
we live in could never cure in its present state.

And so Mother Earth cried, for she could no longer control

her offspring as they set about tearing her apart and
abusing her, fighting to advance faster than they could
cope with.

For they had no time to listen to the Truth and think in

terms of an absolute reality, they were so desperate to
survive admirably and comfortably within the system in
play.
26 Drops of Being

For in our quest and pursuit of a seemingly organised

way of living we caused great imbalance, not only to the
Earth’s natural structure, but to our own human species.

For evil in each individual man’s heart directly leads to

evil within the world at large, so absolute is our
microcosmic relationship with the entire contents of Earth
and the Universe.

Only Truth revealed within each man can restore absolute

balance.”

She stopped speaking at that moment and leaned forward to

place her weight on her long staff, slightly bending her tall
back as she did so.

“I want you to imagine what I am about to say as if you

were really present there.

But first, I wish you to simply feel the ambience of where

we are right now whilst I shield your present reality from
your physical eyes so that you may see with another eye,
another reality, the pictures of an inner force that we have
created, perfectly mirrored in our current environment.

You will see as much as you want to see.”

Drops of Being 27

28 Drops of Being

And with her words, she transported our minds to the centre
of the ocean.

There lay before us a ship of great dimensions, built of solid

steel, big and grey in her appearance. It stood solidly in the
water that splashed angrily around its belly, urging it to go away,
its great dimension slicing through the ocean as it cut its way
through.

That great boat stood still now and laughed at the waves as
they attempted to beat it. She laughed for she felt no pain, her
hard walls protecting her from any ambush.

And she revelled in delight as her hungry belly was filled by the
contents of the ocean, sucking noisily through her vast trunk as
she drank and ate the many creatures.

And there were many Beings present upon that vessel.

She showed us images of these in all shades of colour and we

saw that most carried only the darker, less brilliant colours, for
there were men who were away from their families and loved
ones, doing a physical task that they cared little for in pursuit
of an income to barely survive.

All this weighed heavily on their hearts.

Some remained alone in their desperate search for something

to grasp onto, just to make some sense of it all.

And there were those who had run away from unhappiness,
Drops of Being 29

but it followed them like a disease throughout their consequent

journeys, dancing in the shadow of each of them.

For reflected above the stormy clouds in the vast space of the
sky, when some proportion of light fell through a tiny hole in
the tumultuous storm and shone upon them, we saw the
footprints of that which was imaged in Infinity.

Yet unable to reach them through that barrier of emotional

turmoil, the rest remained hidden from our eyes, for we were
only able to see as much as we could personally perceive.

And in the dark, the shadows of all Beings remained also

dead.

Then she showed us flashes of Time where before us lay a

huge cliff of ice extending out into an icy bay, where creatures
played in their natural environment.

But small and large fish lay dead on that shore and next to
them lay those birds of the sea that hunted the waters.

Beside them lay small animals who had relied upon them as
prey.

And so the chain of death continued along the shore.

And as we gazed in the other direction, there stood a tropical

island that basked in the sun, where the waters of the sea
seemed calm.
30 Drops of Being

Something gleamed in the distance, almost overpowering to

the eyes, like the sun reflecting off some precious metal.

It continued to grow and thus we saw a huge fire sweeping

across the terrain and out of that fire came loud screams of
agony, as the Earth’s flesh was made sore.

And within those screams, I heard the sound of distant echoes

of deep wailing and desperate utterances,

“I did not fight with you, Fire.”

“I am aware, dear Earth that you meant no conflict with

me, but I am obedient to a new master now, but the
reflection of his wish and determination.”

Then I saw vast armies of souls trampling across these

territories that had been raised to the ground.

And above the images of destruction lay the ground works of

an infinite system.

Its fortress had been long knocked down and left in shambles,
the mere outline remaining of its remnant walls.

And I saw in a flash that it was the mind of mankind that was
projecting that image, having collectively converted it from
one of beauty.
Drops of Being 31

Beauty and ugliness, side by side, that serve as a reflection of

our Inner Being, now horribly replaced on the surface with an
oddly distorted illusionary form growing stronger underneath
and appearing more ugly in the mirror of the sky.

So strong and so far had that destruction gone that we had

blocked out the Truth and as a result, the celestial realms too
basked in the image of ruin.

Yet above that lay a perfect algebraic equation that I strained

to see, but it was too blurred and my vision was not capable.

I looked harder, for it arose my interest immensely.

But I was not permitted its view, yet sub-consciously I knew

it.

34 Drops of Being

After the images had vanished, we once again became aware

that we were sitting around the table.

The lady who had so descriptively shown us the visions then

leaned across and filled each one of our cups in turn with a
clear liquid.

Offering each of us a slice of bread, she started talking once

again.

“With this pure water and mere bread, I hope to represent

that our basic survival needs are our main preoccupation
during our lifetime.

Without such, the physical body could not remain alive.

For the basis of a good life depends on our ability to remain

physically healthy, just as we need shelter from the
elements so that we may prepare our food, rest our bodies
and nurture our offspring, so that they too grow well.

We all strive to gain these basic requirements of life in the

best way possible.

With the body in a physically healthy state, our minds can

function well and thus we have a better foundation from
which to pay attention to our Inner Being, nurturing our
contact with it through our mind, which is designed to
process and use knowledge to survive.
Drops of Being 35

With mind functioning at this basic level, we are also

capable of furthering our True capabilities and interests
and ultimately connecting with our Inner Being so that
we become whole as a person.

And just as the balance of our own body, mind and Inner
Being creates the necessary equilibrium in our lives,
equilibrium of the Earth within the Universe as its
container is essential to its survival.

But how our individual survival is dependant upon

whichever system we may find ourselves born into and
how at that time we are unaware of our microcosmic
position in the face of the whole Universal mechanism.

For in the beginning we arrive with nothing and from

that moment on, we learn how to sustain our own physical
needs.

As we grow older, we start to understand the play of life

around us and question our place and position within it.
And depending on the answers we receive and the
contemplation of what we undertake, so do we gain
knowledge or ignorance.

For a while, we are helped in the process and then we are

left alone to survive the best we can, using the information
we have been taught by our respective system, but if we
do not conform to those rules, we are somehow forced
out of it.
36 Drops of Being

Thus we start out as students of life seeking to understand

and grow to become teachers from whom others seek
advice due to our experience of it.

But in reality our student days never end as we continue

to assimilate life, progressing through its various corridors
whilst assuming its intricacies.

In some cases, a means to survive may be through

performing some specific task for which one receives
remuneration, whilst in others, one relies on taking from
another who wishes to share.

And then there are those who barely have enough to merely
survive.

Even the common thief, who steals to feed and house his
children is realistically showing desperation at a system
that does not allow his proper survival and occupations
that cannot capture his interest.

Who is at fault, the system, or him? For if there is no

other means to survive then one will turn to desperate
methods.

He then becomes, as all crime against others does, an

indication of the unhealthy state of our social apparatus.

For ultimately, the root of our earthly survival is based

on our ability to earn money.

All things both animate and inanimate that were initially

Drops of Being 37
gifts of the Earth to its occupants have been given a price
that we must pay in order to possess or use.

This even extends down to our basic needs of food, shelter

and the nurturing of our offspring.

For since we created that false god to rule even our basic
means of survival upon this Earth, we have twirled deeper
and deeper down a spiral away from our pure original
wisdom nature.

Instead, purely human created goals that are filled with

selfish intent master our existence as all eyes gaze with
desire upon the essentially all-powerful tool of money.

In the early days of this present Age, we had wandered

nomadically, but as our population of humans increased,
we came to call these places our own.

And we formed borders around these territories, so that

no one else may enter and take our produce, which we
kept for ourselves.

And we inbred amongst each other, giving our particular

features a common name.

So did all of mankind pen itself into various zones.

But we soon discovered that we did not have everything

we needed in order to survive comfortably on our piece
of land, so we ventured out to seek what we did not have
38 Drops of Being

and found different treasures to be gained everywhere.

And we started by swapping something that we had and

the other did not possess, for something that they had
and we had none of.

Eventually we suppressed them as our system began to

rely on those particular items, labelling this area of land
and all its contents our own too, stealing from it what we
wanted, implanting our methods, annihilating the previous
owners and exterminating those who would not conform.

The rest were indoctrinated, remaining the subjects of slave

labour. For they did not retain ownership of what had
been theirs before and the ideas and knowledge that had
previously dwelled there was also covered over by the new
rulers.

This takeover system went on for millennia, different rulers

over different areas of land changing hands so regularly
that the peoples of different lands were mixed and cities
were created and destroyed, again and again.

So did Earth eventually get carved up into small and large

pieces that worked each in its own interest alone.

And even the micro-systems within each territory were

dividing the peoples of each land further.

Without recognising it, we were in fact boldly declaring

Drops of Being 39
our fractional supremacy against other parts of the whole,
rather than considering ourselves a portion of it.

But we were all wrong, for the Earth belongs to no one

and our evil cause could not win over the Truth.

How could we expand our common abilities and attain

fair distribution of our produce by keeping ourselves
tucked away within fenced areas, insulated portions that
deleted the rest of mankind from their natural born rights
as humans to each of Earth’s territories?

Thus progression of thought in a unified collective sense

could never be obtained, just as there was no coordination
to benefit all mankind and the whole Universe in
harmonious ways.

For with so many parts fighting for territorial supremacy

as divided units, there was no room for unification as a
whole.

So this strive for domination was our natural way to

desperately return to that earthly time of another Age
when all creatures of the Earth had free access to all things.

For whilst we were so engrossed in demanding territorial

rights and too busy concentrating on greater production
for the people of our respective nations, we forgot that
that which we termed as ‘ours’ were merely gifts from our
Mother Earth, who wished to provide all of us with our
needs, gifts for which she asked nothing in return.
40 Drops of Being

By pricing Earth’s produce, we had created greed and

necessity for domination of territory and each part of the
whole world now stood disunited from each other.

And we explored endlessly for treasures that we could

exploit and turn into money and produce that we could
reap and turn into money and brains that we could squeeze
and turn into money.

For money became our greatest need and the unique

necessity in order to survive, so strong became its
monopoly upon our lives.

But in Truth, money is a mere abstract creation that only

exists in concept, that in reality can never be tangible.

For all things are only as valuable as they are necessary.

And then our speed of travel and communication increased

and consequently the knowledge of what we had created
became apparent as we viewed our one small planet of
Earth from outer space within the bigger picture of the
Universe.

Realising that what we had created may lead to disaster,

we struggled to iron out the imbalance we had caused
and to set the pattern straight again, or at least, talk about
it.

Yet we still partook in a greater strive to keep supply of

Drops of Being 41
component parts, as we began to realise that we may run
out of such materials.

So we fought harder to stock ourselves up with supply of

such necessities, never standing out front with such issues,
but always lurking in the background behind a cover story
to impress.

For we knew that without those substances, we could no

longer rule over others. And without ruling others, we
would have no constant base of supply.

So desperate was our need to hold onto raw materials

that we were already running out of in our various
territories.

Then in utter desperation, we even created false money

to borrow, as numbers in space, since we had already
depleted our own physical material assets.

For sub-consciously we feared that we ourselves may fall

to the level of having to struggle to barely exist once again
and we did not want to lose those many years of
‘development’ in which we had so-called, ‘bettered’ our
existence.

We believed ourselves to be the masters, but in fact we

had become the slaves of habits that we had developed
and could no longer control.

And it is that very fear of loss that leaves us fighting for

42 Drops of Being

domination, for we do not understand what ‘to gain’ really

means.

For those imbalanced scales on which our world sits

precariously where the weights are money, justice may
never prevail.

And they cannot realign themselves, for the illogical weight

of money declares that as one man becomes rich, so does
another become poor, one becomes master and the other,
his slave.

So does destruction of the other’s rights remain the

prerogative of rule and gain, rather than share and divide.

There is only one destruction that could adjust the

interminable imbalance of the present system, and that is
of money.”
