The Trinity

The summary of the first page of The Athanasian Creed is talking about how
there is one God who is his own person, one Son who is his own person, and one Holy
Spirit who is also their own person but even though they are three separate beings they
are unified as one person which make up the Trinity. The Father, The Son, and The
Holy Spirit are all equal in power. They were all uncreated but still eternal. The
Atanasian Creed also talks about Jesus being God and Human but he is still formed
together as one person not two separate people. God chose to take the form of a
human being so that he could be one person through flesh and soul just as a normal
human being. A quote from this is That we believe and confess that our lord Jesus
Christ, Gods Son, is both God and Human, equally.

The Delighting in the Trinity is about how beautiful God is and even before God
created the universe he loved Jesus and Gods love is eternal. This also talks about
how God is not mean and demanding but he gets to offer us a wonderful salvation that
is a better offer than a non-triune God. written in (John 1:12) is and so with the
security to enjoy his love forever. i think this means that if you believe in God you will
enjoy a happy life and God love will last forever.

The christian belief of the Trinity is that there three people that make up God and
it is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three make up one God or which is
also called monotheism. What helps me most in the learning that we did about the
Trinity is the understanding that there is only one God who is made up of three separate
parts. Another one is seeing that they all contribute to God and what forms him into the
loving God he is and how the three parts are equal in power and they cant be higher
than the next one. What was surprising/change my thought about the Trinity to me was
that how they are different from each other like the father is not the son, the son is not
the holy spirit, and the holy spirit is not the father.

The Doctrine of the Trinity is that there is one God from three separate persons,
but is all fully God. the example i chose is the one we learned in class that if you have a
two dimensional world and you try to explain a cube to a two dimensional person they
would not understand because even if you turn the cube to another side they would just
see a different color, but that doesn't mean that the cube doesn't exist. This is also how
humans try to learn about the Trinity because they think that from the three persons
only one should be fully God. even though the two dimensional person can't imagine a
cube they can think about it.
The Doctrine of the Trinity is important because we need to understand how
powerful God is and how he can be one through three persons. This affects the
christian understanding of salvation and hell because they don't have to worship three
Gods but just one. Also because they don't put one of the persons higher than the
others and through God and the Trinity they are saved from hell. If someone doesn't
believe in God they will look at God and the Trinity as a tritheism religion and that they
will think that christians worship three Gods for their salvation and if not they will be sent
to hell.

The one biggest thing that i learned about the Trinity is that God is amazings in
all of his ways and he loved all of us from the beginning and that he is powerful through
three persons that make him up even though they are not each other but are still equal
in everything. My question is how come in (john 14:10) he only mentions the Father and
not the Son or the Holy Spirit?
