Course Number and Title Natural Science 1 FOUNDATIONS OF PHYSICAL SCIENCE
Course Component 3-unit lecture, 0-unit laboratory; 3 hours lecture, 0 hours lab
Course Description A survey of the physical sciences such as Physics, Chemistry, and Earth Science (Geology, Hydrology, Meteorology, and Astronomy)
Course Goal The course aims to develop the students to obtain functional knowledge in the basic physical sciences that they can use in their practical daily life.
1. Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking on the basic principles of Physical Science.
2. Develop concrete understanding on matter and its properties, classification and various matter transformations.
3. Develop understanding on the basic principles of the earth and its physical composition, structure and processes.
