Clinical, Catholic Medical Center, 450 hours
Completed 15 weeks of clinical supervised practice in 330 bed hospital, exceeding
competency in area of patient care and management as evidenced by final evaluation
forms.
Implemented the Nutrition Care Process for patients with varied nutritional needs,
including CVD, bariatric surgery, diabetes, critical illnesses/conditions, and behavioral
health conditions.
Provided medical nutrition therapy services, nutrition education and counseling to over
350 residents over the course of 15 weeks.
Completed more than 240 hours on clinical review packets and Clinical Applications
course
Food Service Systems Management, Zorn Dining Commons, 120 hours
Planned, coordinated, and implemented a large-scale promotional event for ~2,700
students, faculty, and staff

Community and Wellness
o Led the development of a campus-wide Workplace Wellness Weight Management
Program to be implemented Fall 2017.
o Planned lessons and delivered engaging presentations to small and large groups such as
the impact of sugar-sweetened beverage marketing techniques toward adolescents;
cooking classes with children and families; and importance of fruits and vegetables for
adults in a chemical dependency rehabilitation center.
o Created visually appealing and informative educational handouts for the public, such as a
handout on whole vs. processed foods for children, and the basics of nutrition science for
older adults.

University of Vermont, Burlington, VT May 2016
Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, Nutrition & Food Science
Created meal plans specifically for children at a local homeless shelter, and helped run Vermonts
first after-school-snack program for homeless children.
Researched Norwegian childhood nutrition programs and Norwegian healthcare related to obesity
in a travel-study program.
Received the Richard H. Holzer Memorial Scholarship for students who exhibit leadership
qualities and are active on campus and in the UVM College of Agriculture & Life Sciences.
