Narrative How / which narrative techniques are you planning to use? We plan to use a parallel narrative to explore how both people from the relationship are
copying with their heartbreak. As well as this, we are going to feature a climax after our
characters see each other again and end up arguing which results in our female
protagonist letting out her frustrations through having an outburst.
Levi Strauss (How) will you use binary oppositions? I dont think binary opposites would be appropriate for our video, as while our narrative
explores heartbreak, it doesnt include antagonism.
Todorov (How) will you use equilibrium / disequilibrium? The protagonists will have reached a new equilibrium after the breakup which is then
disrupted when they see one another again.
Representation What macro issues will be represented in your music video? Consider: gender, age, ethnicity, Gender and age will be discussed in our video as we explore how both male and female
sexuality, class, status, physical ability / disability, regional identity, issues / events. teenagers deal with heartbreak.
How will you create those representations? Consider: camerawork: angle, shot type, movement; The use of a split screen in which the shots are mirror, will present both genders as
