Precautions
On BLUETOOTH communications
BLUETOOTH wireless technology operates
within a range of about 10m. Maximum
communication range may vary depending
on obstacles (human body, metal, wall,
etc.) or electromagnetic environment.
The aerial is built into the unit as illustrated
in the dotted line (Fig. ). The sensitivity
of the BLUETOOTH communications will
improve by turning the direction of the
built-in aerial to the connected
BLUETOOTH device. When obstacles are
between the aerial of the connected
device and the built-in aerial of this unit,
noise or audio dropout may occur, or
communications may be disabled.
BLUETOOTH communications may be
disabled, or noise or audio dropout may
occur under the following conditions.
There is a human body between the unit
and the BLUETOOTH device.
This situation may be improved by
placing the BLUETOOTH device facing
the aerial of the unit.
There is an obstacle, such as metal or
wall, between the unit and the
BLUETOOTH device.
A device using 2.4GHz frequency, such
as a WiFi device, cordless telephone, or
microwave oven, is in use near this unit.
Because BLUETOOTH devices and WiFi
(IEEE802.11b/g/n) use the same frequency
(2.4 GHz), microwave interference may
occur resulting in noise or audio dropout
or communications being disabled if this
unit is used near a WiFi device. In such a
case, perform the following.
Use this unit at least 10m away from the
WiFi device.
If this unit is used within 10m of a WiFi
device, turn off the WiFi device.
Install this unit and the BLUETOOTH
device as near to each other as possible.
Microwaves emitting from a BLUETOOTH
device may affect the operation of
electronic medical devices. Turn off this
unit and other BLUETOOTH devices in the
following locations, as it may cause an
accident:
where inflammable gas is present, in a
hospital, or a petrol station
near automatic doors or a fire alarm
Do not use the unit on an airplane. Radio
waves may affect instruments, causing an
accident due to malfunction.
Due to the characteristic of BLUETOOTH
wireless technology, the sound played on
this unit is slightly delayed from the sound
played on the BLUETOOTH device during
talking on the telephone or listening to the
music.
This unit supports security capabilities that
comply with the BLUETOOTH standard to
provide a secure connection when the
BLUETOOTH wireless technology is used,
but security may not be enough
depending on the setting. Be careful when
communicating using BLUETOOTH wireless
technology.
We do not take any responsibility for the
leakage of information during BLUETOOTH
communications.
Connection with all BLUETOOTH devices
cannot be guaranteed.
A device featuring BLUETOOTH function
is required to conform to the BLUETOOTH
standard specified by Bluetooth SIG, Inc.
and be authenticated.
Even if the connected device conforms
to the above mentioned BLUETOOTH
standard, some devices may not be
connected or work correctly, depending
on the features or specifications of the
device.
While talking on the phone hands free,
noise may occur, depending on the
device or communication environment.
Depending on the device to be connected,
it may require some time to start
communications.
On the use of calling apps for
smartphones and computers
This unit supports normal incoming calls
only. Calling apps for smartphones and
computers are not supported.
If sound skips frequently during
playback
The situation may be improved by
changing the wireless playback quality
settings or fixing the wireless playback
mode to SBC on the transmitting device.
For details, refer to the operating
instructions supplied with the transmitting
device.
On charging the unit
This unit can be charged using USB only.
Personal computer with USB port is
required for charging.
This unit cannot be turned on, nor can the
BLUETOOTH function be used, during
charging.
If you do not use the unit for a long time,
the rechargeable battery may not be able
to keep sufficient charge. The battery will
be able to keep a charge properly after
repeatedly discharging and charging
several times.
If you store the unit for a long time, charge
the battery once every half year to prevent
over-discharge.
If the length of time you can use the unit
became extremely short, the rechargeable
battery should be replaced with a new
one. Please contact your nearest Sony
dealer for a battery replacement.
Note on static electricity
Static electricity accumulated in the body
may cause mild tingling in your ears. To
minimize the effect, wear clothes made
from natural materials.
If the unit does not operate properly
Reset the unit (Fig. ).
Connect the headset to a booted computer
using the supplied micro-USB cable, then
press the button and - button
simultaneously. The unit will be reset.
Pairing information is not deleted.
If the problem persists even after the
resetting operation above, initialize the
unit as follows.
Disconnect the micro-USB cable from the
micro-USB port, turn off the unit, then hold
down the and buttons simultaneously
for more than 7 seconds. The indicator
(blue) flashes 4times, and the unit is reset
to the factory settings. All pairing
information is deleted.
connect to your iPhone or computer. In this
case, delete the pairing information of the
unit from the iPhone or computer, and
then pair them again.
Others
Do not place this unit in a place exposed to
humidity, dust, soot or steam, or subject to
direct sunlight. Do not leave the unit in a
car for a long time. It may cause a
malfunction.
Using the BLUETOOTH device may not
function on mobile phones, depending on
radio wave conditions and location where
the equipment is being used.
Listening with this unit at high volume
may affect your hearing.
For traffic safety, do not use this unit while
driving or cycling.
Do not use the unit in places where it
would be dangerous if you are unable to
hear ambient sound, such as at railroad
crossings, train station platforms, and
construction sites.
Do not put weight or pressure on this unit
as it may cause the unit to deform during
long storage.
Do not subject the unit to excessive shock.
Clean the unit with a soft dry cloth.
Do not expose the unit to water. The unit is
not waterproof.
Remember to follow the precautions
below.
Be careful not to drop the unit into a sink
or other container filled with water.
Do not use the unit in humid locations or
bad weather, such as in the rain or snow.
Do not get the unit wet.
If you touch the unit with wet hands, or
put the unit in a damp article of clothing,
the unit may get wet and this may cause
a malfunction of the unit.
If you experience discomfort after using
the unit, stop using the unit immediately.
The earpads may deteriorate due to
longterm storage or use.

La technologie sans fil BLUETOOTH

La prsence dobstacles entre lantenne du
priphrique connect et lantenne
intgre cet appareil peut engendrer des
parasites ou des pertes de niveau sonore,
voire la dsactivation des communications.
Les communications BLUETOOTH peuvent
tre dsactives, ou des parasites ou des
pertes de niveau sonore peuvent

Cet appareil prend seulement en charge
les appels entrants ordinaires. Les
applications dappel des smartphones et
des ordinateurs ne sont pas prises en
charge.
En cas de sauts frquents du son
pendant la lecture
La situation peut tre amliore en
modifiant les paramtres de qualit de la
lecture sans fil ou en rglant sur SBC le
mode de lecture sans fil du priphrique
metteur. Pour plus de dtails,
reportez-vous au mode demploi fourni
avec le priphrique metteur.
propos du chargement de lappareil
Cet appareil peut seulement tre charg
via USB. Un ordinateur quip dun port
USB est ncessaire pour effectuer le
chargement.
Pendant le chargement, il nest pas
possible de mettre cet appareil sous
tension ou dutiliser la fonction
BLUETOOTH.
Si vous nutilisez pas lappareil pendant
une priode prolonge, la batterie
rechargeable risque de ne pas garder une
charge suffisante. La batterie pourra
garder correctement sa charge aprs avoir
t dcharge et recharge plusieurs
reprises.
Si vous rangez lappareil pendant une
priode prolonge, chargez la batterie
deux fois par an pour viter la dcharge
totale.
Si lautonomie de lappareil diminue
considrablement, vous devez remplacer
la batterie rechargeable par une neuve.
Contactez votre revendeur Sony le plus
proche pour vous procurer une batterie de
rechange.
Remarque sur llectricit statique
Llectricit statique accumule dans le
corps peut entraner de lgers picotements
dans les oreilles. Pour en rduire les effets,
portez des vtements en fibres naturelles.
Si lappareil ne fonctionne pas
correctement
Rinitialisez lappareil (Fig. ).
Connectez le casque un ordinateur
oprationnel laide du cble micro-USB
fourni, puis appuyez simultanment sur les
touches et -. Lappareil est rinitialis.
Les informations de jumelage ne sont pas
supprimes.
Si le problme persiste mme aprs avoir
effectu la rinitialisation ci-dessus,
initialisez lappareil comme suit.
Dconnectez le cble micro-USB du port
micro-USB, mettez lappareil hors tension,
puis maintenez les touches et-
enfonces simultanment pendant plus de
7 secondes. Le tmoin (bleu) clignote 4fois
et lappareil est rinitialis selon les
paramtres dfinis en usine. Toutes les
informations de jumelage sont
supprimes.
Aprs avoir initialis lappareil, il est
possible quil ne se connecte pas votre
iPhone ou votre ordinateur. Dans ce cas,
supprimez les informations de jumelage
de lappareil sur liPhone ou lordinateur,
puis jumelez-les nouveau.
Autres
Ne placez pas cet appareil dans un endroit
expos lhumidit, la poussire, la suie
ou la vapeur. Ne le laissez pas non plus en
plein soleil. Nabandonnez pas lappareil
dans un vhicule pendant une priode
prolonge. Il risquerait de tomber en
panne.
Il est possible que lappareil BLUETOOTH
ne fonctionne pas avec des tlphones
portables, selon ltat des ondes radio et le
lieu dutilisation.
Lutilisation de cet appareil des niveaux
de volume levs peut altrer loue.
Pour des raisons de scurit, nutilisez pas
cet appareil en voiture ou vlo.
Nutilisez pas lappareil dans des endroits
o il peut tre dangereux de ne pas
entendre les bruits ambiants, notamment
proximit dun passage niveau, sur un
quai de gare ou sur un chantier.
Ne posez aucun poids sur lappareil et
nexercez aucune pression sur celui-ci, car
il risque de se dformer si vous le rangez
ainsi pendant une priode prolonge.
Ne soumettez pas lappareil un choc
excessif.
Nettoyez lappareil avec un chiffon doux et
sec.
Nexposez pas lappareil leau. Lappareil
nest pas tanche leau.

Si se producen saltos frecuentes en el
sonido durante la reproduccin
La situacin puede corregirse modificando
los ajustes de calidad de la reproduccin
inalmbrica o ajustando el modo de la
reproduccin inalmbrica en SBC en el
dispositivo transmisor. Para obtener ms

transmisor.
Carga de la unidad
Esta unidad funciona nicamente con
carga USB. No es necesario un ordenador
personal con puerto USB para la carga.
Durante la carga, esta unidad no puede
encenderse ni puede usarse la funcin
BLUETOOTH.
Si no utiliza la unidad durante un perodo
prolongado, es posible que la pila
recargable no conserve una carga
suficiente. La pila podr conservar una
carga suficiente despus de varios ciclos
seguidos de descarga y carga.
Si almacena la unidad durante un perodo
prolongado, cargue la pila una vez cada
medio ao para evitar una descarga
excesiva.
Si la autonoma de la unidad se reduce

Reinicie la unidad (fig. ).
Conecte los auriculares a un ordenador
encendido usando el cable micro USB

y el botn - simultneamente. La unidad
se reiniciar. La informacin de
emparejamiento no se elimina.
Si el problema contina incluso despus
de reiniciar la unidad, inicialice la unidad
de la forma descrita a continuacin.
Desconecte el cable micro USB del puerto
micro USB, apague la unidad y mantenga
pulsados los botones y - al mismo
tiempo durante ms de 7 segundos. El
indicador (azul) parpadea 4veces y se

Voorzorgsmaatregelen
Over BLUETOOTH-communicatie
De draadloze BLUETOOTH-technologie
werkt binnen een bereik van ongeveer
10m. Het maximale bereik van de
communicatie kan variren afhankelijk van
obstakels (personen, metalen, wanden
enz.) of de elektromagnetische omgeving.
De antenne is ingebouwd in het toestel
zoals aangegeven met de stippellijn (afb.
). U kunt de gevoeligheid van de
BLUETOOTH-communicatie verbeteren
door de ingebouwde antenne te richten
naar het aangesloten BLUETOOTH-
apparaat. Wanneer er zich obstakels
bevinden tussen de antenne van het
aangesloten apparaat en de ingebouwde
antenne van dit toestel, kan er ruis
hoorbaar zijn, het geluid wegvallen of de
communicatie verstoord raken.
In de volgende omstandigheden kan de
BLUETOOTH-communicatie verstoord
raken, kan er ruis hoorbaar zijn of kan het
geluid wegvallen.
Er bevindt zich iemand tussen het
toestel en het BLUETOOTH-apparaat.
U kunt deze situatie verhelpen door het
BLUETOOTH-apparaat naar de antenne

verbinding tot stand kan worden gebracht
met alle BLUETOOTH-apparaten.
Een apparaat met BLUETOOTH-functie
moet voldoen aan de BLUETOOTH-norm
die opgesteld werd door Bluetooth SIG,
Inc. en moet geverifieerd zijn.
Zelfs als het verbonden apparaat voldoet
aan de hierboven vermelde BLUETOOTH-
norm, kan met sommige apparaten
mogelijk geen verbinding worden
gemaakt of functioneert het apparaat
niet correct, afhankelijk van de
kenmerken of technische gegevens van
het apparaat.
Wanneer u handenvrij belt, kan er
afhankelijk van het apparaat of de
communicatieomgeving ruis optreden.
Afhankelijk van het apparaat waarmee de
verbinding tot stand wordt gebracht, kan
het even duren voordat de communicatie
van start gaat.
Over het gebruik van bel-apps voor
smartphones en computers
Dit apparaat ondersteunt enkel normale
inkomende oproepen. Bel-apps voor
smartphones en computers worden niet
ondersteund.
Als het geluid regelmatig hapert
tijdens het afspelen
Het probleem kan mogelijk verholpen
worden door op het verzendende apparaat
de instellingen voor de kwaliteit van het
draadloos afspelen te veranderen of de
stand voor het draadloos afspelen in te
stellen op SBC. Raadpleeg voor meer
informatie de meegeleverde
gebruiksaanwijzing van het verzendende
apparaat.
Het toestel opladen
Dit toestel kan alleen opgeladen worden
via USB. Voor het opladen hebt u een pc
met een USB-poort nodig.
Tijdens het opladen kunt u dit toestel niet
inschakelen en kunt u evenmin de
BLUETOOTH-functie gebruiken.
Als u het toestel langdurig niet gebruikt,
lukt het mogelijk niet om de batterij tot de
normale capaciteit op te laden. Na de
batterij verschillende keren na elkaar te
hebben opgeladen en geleegd, zult u deze
opnieuw volledig kunnen opladen.
Als u het toestel ergens langdurig opbergt,
dient u de batterij minstens elke zes
maanden op te laden om overmatige
ontlading te voorkomen.
Als u het toestel beduidend minder lang
kunt gebruiken, moet u de oplaadbare
batterij vervangen door een nieuwe. Neem
hiervoor contact op met uw
dichtstbijzijnde Sony-verdeler.
Opmerking over statische elektriciteit
Door toenemende statische elektriciteit in
uw lichaam kunt u prikkelingen in uw oren
voelen. Dit effect kan worden beperkt door
kleren te dragen die gemaakt zijn van
natuurlijke materialen.
Als het toestel niet correct werkt
Reset het toestel (afb. ).
Sluit de headset aan op een opgestarte
computer via de meegeleverde micro-USB-
kabel, druk vervolgens gelijktijdig op de
toetsen en -. Het toestel wordt gereset.
De koppelingsinformatie wordt niet
gewist.
Als het probleem blijft aanhouden, zelfs na
het toestel te hebben gereset, initialiseert
u het toestel als volgt.
Trek de micro-USB-kabel uit de
micro-USB-poort, schakel het apparaat uit,
houd vervolgens de toetsen en
- gelijktijdig ingedrukt gedurende meer
dan 7 seconden. De indicator (blauw)
knippert 4 keer en de fabrieksinstellingen
van het toestel worden hersteld. Alle
koppelingsinformatie wordt gewist.
Na het initialiseren van het toestel kan het
mogelijk geen verbinding maken met uw
iPhone of computer. Wis in dat geval de
koppelingsinformatie van de iPhone of
computer en voer vervolgens de
koppelingsprocedure opnieuw uit.
Overige
Bewaar het toestel niet op een plaats waar
het wordt blootgesteld aan vocht, stof,
roet, stoom of rechtstreeks zonlicht. Laat
het toestel niet langdurig in een auto
liggen. Dit kan namelijk storingen
veroorzaken.
Mogelijk zal het BLUETOOTH-apparaat,
afhankelijk van de omstandigheden van de
radiogolven en de locatie waar het
apparaat wordt gebruikt, niet werken in
combinatie met mobiele telefoons.
Wanneer u dit toestel gebruikt aan een
hoog volume, kan dit gehoorschade
veroorzaken.
Gebruik voor uw veiligheid dit toestel niet
tijdens het rijden of fietsen.
Gebruik het toestel niet op plaatsen waar
het gevaarlijk kan zijn dat u de
omgevingsgeluiden niet hoort, zoals aan
een spoorwegovergang, op een
treinperron of op een bouwwerf.
Plaats geen gewicht op dit toestel en
oefen er geen druk op uit. Dit kan er
namelijk voor zorgen dat het toestel
vervormd raakt wanneer het lang wordt
opgeborgen.
Stel het toestel niet bloot aan zware
schokken.
Reinig het toestel met een zachte droge
doek.
Stel het toestel niet bloot aan water. Het
toestel is niet waterdicht.
Volg altijd de onderstaande

Laat het toestel niet vallen in een
gootsteen of een ander voorwerp dat
gevuld is met water.

Ricarica dellunit
Questa unit pu essere ricaricata
esclusivamente tramite USB. Per la ricarica
necessario un personal computer dotato
di porta USB.
Durante la ricarica non possibile
accendere lunit, n utilizzare la funzione
BLUETOOTH.
Se lunit rimane inutilizzata per lungo
tempo, la batteria ricaricabile potrebbe
non essere in grado di mantenere una
carica sufficiente. La batteria sar in grado
di mantenere correttamente la carica dopo
aver eseguito diversi cicli di scaricamento
e ricarica.
Se lunit deve rimanere inutilizzata per
lungo tempo, consigliabile ricaricare la
batteria ogni sei mesi per evitare che si
scarichi eccessivamente.
Se il tempo duso dellunit diventa
estremamente breve, necessario
sostituire la batteria ricaricabile con una
nuova. Rivolgersi al rivenditore Sony di
zona per la sostituzione della batteria.
Nota sullelettricit statica
Lelettricit statica che si accumula nel
corpo pu causare un lieve formicolio nelle
orecchie. Leffetto pu essere ridotto al
minimo indossando abiti realizzati in
tessuti naturali.
Se lunit non funziona correttamente
Reimpostare lunit (Fig. ).
Collegare le cuffie a un computer attivo
mediante il cavo micro-USB in dotazione,
quindi premere contemporaneamente il
pulsante e il pulsante -. Lunit viene
reimpostata. Le informazioni di
associazione non vengono eliminate.
Se il problema persiste dopo avere
eseguito loperazione di reimpostazione
sopra indicata, procedere
allinizializzazione dellunit come indicato

Scollegare il cavo micro-USB dalla porta

umidit, polvere, fuliggine, vapore o luce
diretta del sole. Non lasciare lunit in auto

essere utilizzabile con i telefoni cellulari, a
