Poem Soul's Cry

You're a record spinning on a record player. You feel better now,
You're confined to the space given to you, But you grow tired and get rid of the rage.
But not your thoughts. As the rage dies, so do you.
Your thoughts are like music coming out of the speakers, But as you die,
Spreading across the room, You take a good look at the sky you're leaving
Bouncing against the walls, behind.
Entering someone's ears,
And echoing in their heads. Switch.
The record stops playing, Now you're the sky,
but the music lives on, Breathtakingly vast and endless.
in the heads of the listeners, You go on and on,
as they look out of their windows, Across seas and oceans.
only to find a lone tree in the storm. You're the blanket Mother Nature tucked us in.
You're the abode for clouds,
Switch. And a playground for birds.
Now you're the tree, You're the most cliched limit,
Bracing against the storm, And the most realistic one for us,
Your leaves consoling each other, Humans and animals alike.
Saying everything comes to an end, As I look from here,
So will this storm. I see a ball of hope in you.
You stay put,
Not giving in to the storm. Switch.
You have lost a lot, Now you're the sun,
And still have a lot more to lose. Shining brighter than ever.
It had been just a week since the pigeons made a nest, You breathe as the clouds clear out.
You couldn't save that. You look down,
But you did save many other abodes, And the green fields wave at you,
Like the drey in the trunk. As the grass sways with the wind.
You know it's either you or the storm. You're change.
You're happiness after despair.
Switch. You're relief for the homeless,
Now you're the storm, The humans and the fauna alike.
Carrying within you, rage. And the trees,
Rage, like you've never felt before, With broken branches and leaves.
Ready to beset anything that you come across. You're hope,
You're nothing less than beautiful, One that never dies.
And the sound that you make is nothing less than music,
Switch.
Pure and serene.
Switch.
You order the winds to go faster,
Switch, Switch, because there are so many stories waiting to be
And they obey by howling louder.

You order the clouds to drop the beat,
And they obey by clashing together making a roaring thunder. Syed Ali Mudassar

Morning Walk

Modern living is full of hustle and bustle. From morning to evening we are busy with our daily life. We work till late night. Then next day we
wake up and get busy with the daily chores; helping our children to get ready for school or preparing food and then again rushing to office
and back from office. This is the basic routine of many people. In this process, we are missing an important part that is physical exercise.

If we consider going for regular morning walks, we can enjoy many health benefits. Once we come out for a morning walk, fresh air will
cool our body naturally and bring more energy to do our daily life activities and, we feel more comfortable. Second thing is, while walking
we can discuss many things with our friends because we have enough time. The most important thing is walking. Walking is more effective
than many other forms of exercise.

The only thing we have to do is to sleep early, wake up early, slip into our jogging shoes and just get, set and go! So why delay, pave your
way for healthy living. Article by Mr B K Reddy (Assistant Professor, Electrical Engineering)
