10. Aum lambodaraya namah

This means you feel that you are this universe. It means that all the universes
are within you. Like an entire tree is in the seed, the whole universe is in the
sound of creation, which is Aum, and that Aum consciousness in you makes you fe
el that you are the universe. Therefore, if you say, realizing the oneness with
the universe, "shanti to the world" every day, then the grace of God will come a
nd there will be world peace, universal peace. It is the universes within Aum ad
Aum within you.
11. Aum vikataya namah
This means realizing this world as a dream or a drama. When you are in that high
consciousness, this whole world looks like a dream. All of us have taken a role
. We have to play our role in life as wife or husband or children or citizens, a
ll consistent with the role we have taken. When an actor bitten by a sponge cobr
a that is brought on the stage falls, the entire audience cries; but that boy wh
o has fallen knows it was not a real cobra and he is not dead. Life is a drama -
-definitely life in this material world, this physical world of ego, is a drama.
But inside, like the boy on the stage who is quite happy knowing that he didn't
die by the bite of the sponge cobra, like that, the truth never dies in us; it
is immortal. So everything else you consider as drama. That consciousness comes
to you by knowing this mantra.
12. Aum vighna nashanaya namah
This mantra invokes the Lord Ganesha to remove every impediment in your life and
in your works. By constant meditation on this mantra, all obstacles and blocked
energy in your physical and astral bodies are released.
13. Aum vinayakaya namah
Vinayaka is the name of Ganesha in the golden age. So by realizing this mantra,
your life will have a golden age. In your office, in your work, you'll be the bo
ss. Vinayaka means something under control. Vinayaka means the Lord of problems.
14. Aum ganadhyakshaya namah
This mantra is so important. Suppose you have a group, a country, neighbors, or
any kind of group therapy, group healing or a whole country needing healing, the
n you have to bring that entire group to your mind's arena and say this mantra.
A group healing takes place by this mantra.
15. Aum bhalachandraya namah
In Sanskrit, bhala means the forehead center. Chandra means the crescent moon. B
halachandra means that chakra from where the nectar drips. That is the secret of
all healing. It is to feel yourself as Siva, identifying yourself with the Trut
h and feeling constantly that you are carrying the crescent moon, the symbol of
growth and nectar and peace.
The power of Mantra
The word “ Mantra” is derived from two words. “Mana’ the mind which thinks and “Trai” or to
protect. Thus mantra is the science of training the mind by repeatedly chanting
the Mantra to protect one’s self. The power of Mantra is the ultimate protection i
f it is chanted repeatedly thousands of times in our life, with ultimate devotio
n and with a sprit of surrender and not just repeatedly chanting a fixed number
of times as a mechanical ritual. It is the most secret and most sacred of activi
ty that one undertakes to seek protection or to seek fulfillment of one’s desires
in life from the lord.
Absolute faith and a spirit of surrender is necessary.A Mantra is a mystical for
mula composed of letters ( or phonemes) and words that is meaningful to the pers
on who is chanting the mantra.
The mantra is a collection of “Akshara’’ categorized into a set of 5 alphabets in Sans
krit, meant to raise the Kundalini Shakti from the muladhara Chakra to the visud
ha Chakra in the first stage and either with or without a material objective in
view. In this stage mantra is recited verbally in a specific rhythm a specific n
umber of times daily. If it is done properly with single minded devotion, it is
bound to give success in the material world by fulfilling material desires as we
ll as all desires related to the Physical Plane of consciousness. In different s
tages of the practice both quantitatively and qualitatively.
What is a Mantra?
A mantra is composed of psychically potent sound syllables that are capable of i
nfluencing the human system both physically and spiritually. They can excite the
emotions and give suggestion to the mind. They influence both the one who chant
s them and the one hears them. The word mantra comes from the Sanskrit word Mant
rana, which means advice or suggestions. According to the Upanishads, the origin
al abode of the mantra was the "Parma Akesh" or primeval ether, the eternal and
immutable substratum of the universe.
How does a Mantra work?
A mantra is also an energy field composed of certain frequencies that have a pat
tern of their own and a vibration field that creates different intonation. These
frequencies and the sympathetic overtones generated by them influence our sympa
thetic and parasympathetic nervous, which are spread in a fine neural network th
rough our internal organs in the body. The sympathetic response generates the Ne
ro-motor response and influences two hemisphere of the human cerebral cortex.
Effect of mantra
Mantra practice involves the left hemisphere of the brain and is therefore effec
tive in increasing positive emotions. The intonation and melody, which are the e
ssential parts of Mantras, remove negative emotions. In association with a Yantr
a or a picture of a deity - the mantra also provides the right hemisphere with a
concrete visual image of the object of emotional attention or "Bhakti" - devoti
on.
This is the way mantra affects the emotional self. Spiritual sounds may be poems
, chants, prayers or hymns all create emotional frequencies and open new dimensi
ons in our consciousness. The practice of Mantra is more than a suggestion or an
idea. It is a means of getting in touch with our inner self. This is the essenc
e of "Bhakti Yoga" - which is the simplest and the most effective way by which w
e can connect to the supreme and infinite consciousness
