Key Differences - Tier 1 Vs Tier
2

u SLA (Service Level Agreement) this tells you how fast they can respond to
acknowledge and identify the problem and figure out a potential resolution

uTier 1 Carries have a 4 hour SLA this means they have 4 hours in which to
acknowledge and identify the problem and figure out a potential resolution

u Tier 2 Carries have a 48-72 hour SLA this means they have 48-72 hours in
which to acknowledge and identify the problem and figure out a potential
resolution

uThe reason for the difference is that a Tier 1 Carrier owns the infrastructure
both the Cell towers for Mobiles and The underground Lines for Land Lines
and Data
Mobile Plans (Upfront Handset)

$10 for every 1GB (maximum of $150)

Key Plan Differences
u Data- The amount of data is the main difference between the bottom end
plans and the top end plans
u Data is also shared across the plans For Example if you take 5 $125 and 5 $70
how much data do you get?
u Phone Handsets- depending on the plan you go on the higher the plan you go
the better the phone will be.
u Tech Fund VS Upfront Handset
SIP And ISDN

u PLAN BREAKDOWN

u KEY PLAN DIFFERENCES

u ON-NET AND OFF-NET WHAT THEY MEAN

SIP AND ISDN
u SIP is a business grade VOIP. General VOIP solutions give you both data and
voice on the same line. What Optus SIP offers is a that they will deliver the
voice traffic over a dedicated line and this will separate from your internet
Line
Why? The reason behind why we separate the voice from the data is the we can
the guarantee our clients QOS (Quality of Device)

uISDN This is an older technology with this the lines are delivered over
Copper and no internet is required to run these lines even though the this is
an older technology it is still extremely reliable and very popular with
businesses
