Offloading Method at Construction Jetty & Project Site

In order to accommodate barges of various dimensions, construction jetty at Site is

designed and equipped with adequate bollards and fenders to allow easy mooring
operations.

The unloading and intermediate storage operations at the Site construction jetty
are extremely critical for the correct execution of the Project. The limited
receiving capacity of the jetty and relevant space available for the intermediate
storage of the material/equipment requires a perfect coordination among the
shipping, logistics and installation activities in order to avoid to congestion at
the construction jetty and site.

Since the Contractor considers vital importance for the Project to receive the
right quantity of material/equipment for each transport, the Contractor assumes
that each vessel should transport more than one equipment or material container, to
be stored in the dedicated temporary parking area after unloading from the
transportation barge, with exception of the last equipment that could be directly
forwarded to the final installation place.

Based on the above, a sufficient number of SPMT (modular transporter) will be

mobilized to the Site to facilitate the off-loading, transportation, and final
location of all pieces of package equipment.

For the critical equipment, all lifting over 10 tons each will be prepared with a
lifting plan, included drawings with positions and used capacities of cranes.
