WSP and Parsons Brinckerhoff in India has over 500 experienced and skilled professional staff supporting
seven disciplines - Building Structures, Building Services, Industry, Infrastructure (Bridges & Heavy Civils),
Development (Highways & Drainage), Utilities and Transportation spread across Delhi NCR & Bangalore
offices.

SCOPE OF THE ROLE

The successful candidates role will be as an engineering designer within the iCRC Highways and Drainage
team. You will report to a Senior Engineer.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Engineering designer within the iCRC Highways and Drainage team in our Delhi office producing detailed
highway and drainage engineering designs and construction drawings. You can expect to be active on a
number of projects at any given time.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Mandatory Skills (Include technical or domain certifications/trainings as req.)

We anticipate you will have an interest in the following areas:

Highway Engineering
Drainage and Infrastructure Design
You should have a good first degree in civil engineering, preferably from an IIT University, and
ideally 1-3 years of relevant post-graduate experience.
You will also be computer literate with a reasonable proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word and MS Excel.
Knowledge of highway and drainage design software would be advantageous.
As well as having a thirst for knowledge, cultural awareness, an open mind and good English
communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work as part of a team

 You will be quick to pick up new ideas and skills, and be able to think laterally to generate new solutions
to problems.

PERSONAL PROFILE

The successful candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual who will take on a Leadership role
in project work, focused on delivery to the client and technical excellence. The role requires
management of a number of projects and becoming involved in design at an early stage. The ability to
plan and design deliverables against Swedish Engineering standards for each stage of a project is a
pre-requisite and training and guidance will be provided where necessary.
Cultural awareness, conscientious and an open mind and excellent communication skills are essential
requirements for the role.
High degree of self-motivation and ability to motivate others.
Ability to work under pressure and with minimum of supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least B.Eng. (Civil Engineering) - fresh graduate.
