1) Definition of wireless communication

Wireless communication is the transfer of information over a distance without the use of
enhanced electrical conductors or "wires". The distances involved may be short (a few meters
as in television remote control) or long (thousands or millions of kilometers for radio
communications). When the context is clear, the term is often shortened to "wireless".
Wireless communication is generally considered to be a branch of telecommunications.

2) Common examples of wireless equipment in use:

FRS (Family Radio Service), GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) and Citizens
band ("CB") radios.
Cellular telephones and pagers.
Global Positioning System (GPS)
Cordless computer peripherals
Cordless telephone sets

3) Types of wireless communication

radio frequency communication,
microwave communication, for example long-range line-of-sight via highly
directional antennas, or short-range communication, or
Infrared (IR) short-range communication, for example from remote controls or via
Infrared Data Association (IrDA).

4) What are microwaves?

Microwaves are a form of electromagnetic energy, like light waves or radio waves, and
occupy a part of the electromagnetic spectrum of power, or energy.
Frequencies from 1GHz - 30GHz are usually called "microwave

Facts

The most basic fact about cell phones and cell towers is that they emit microwave radiation;
so do Wi-Fi (wireless Internet) antennas, wireless computers, cordless (portable) phones and
their base units, and all other wireless devices.

Most Wi-Fi systems and some cordless phones operate at the exact same frequency as a
microwave oven, while other devices use a different frequency. Wi-Fi is always on and
always radiating. The base units of most cordless phones are always radiating, even when no
one is using the phone. A cell phone that is on but not in use is also radiating. And, needless to
say, cell towers are always radiating

(About 5 billion mobile phones are in use worldwide)!!!

5) Danger of wireless communication

An increasing number of scientists speculate that our own cells, in fact, use the microwave
spectrum to communicate with one another, like children whispering in the dark, and those
cell phones, like jackhammers, interfere with their signaling. In any case, it is a fact that we
are all being bombarded, day in and day out, whether we use a cell phone or not, by an
amount of microwave radiation that is some ten million times as strong as the average natural
background. And it is also a fact that most of this radiation is due to technology that has been
developed since the 1970s.

As far as cell phones themselves are concerned, if you put one up to your head you are
damaging your brain in a number of different ways. First, think of a microwave oven. A cell
phone, like a microwave oven and unlike a hot shower, heats you from the inside out, not
from the outside in.

And there are no sensory nerve endings in the brain to warn you of a rise in temperature
because we did not evolve with microwave radiation, and this never happens in nature.

Cell phone can do biological damage through heating effects >>>> This cause: headaches,
earaches, blurring of vision, short-term memory loss, numbing, tingling, and burning
sensations, bad sleep.

Well know fact is that if you talk on cellular phone more than 20 min. your brain temperature
raises for up to two degrees. Look at the chart below:

5) What are the scientific facts:

Dr Henry Lai and Dr N. P. Singh tested in labs that radiation changed brain cell
membranes in the rats and the effects are so severe that it could affect humans, too.
Research by other scientists indicates that prolonged use of cellular phones may
cause hot-spots to develop inside the brain, causing damage which could lead to
Alzheimers disease or cancer.

Recent research has shown that GSM pulse-modulated radiation can cause
various physiological effects, such as alteration of the calcium balance in the nerve
tissue of rats and also inhibition of cell growth in the human amniotic epithelium.
Changes in the EEG pattern have also been observed. These subclinical effects do not
always have to lead to disease but do call for alertness. It is assumed that GSM has no
mutagenic characteristics (investigated in yeast cells) but can further the development
of tumours (in rats).

Single and double strand DNA breaks in brain cells increased after exposure to
microwaves. Exposure to both continuous wave and pulsed microwaves produced
DNA damage. Double strand breaks, if not repaired, are known to lead to cell death.
