Intro
What is the Black Death?
The Black Death is one of the most devastating sicknesses in human history,
resulting in the deaths of about 75 to 200 million people in Eurasia and peaking
in Europe in the years 13461353.

Who did the plague effect?


The plague effected all of the world and all
most all of Europe.

What are the Symptoms


of the Black Death?
Symptoms include swollen lymph
nodes, which can be as large as
chicken eggs, in the groin, armpit or
neck. They may get really warm.
Others and more like fever, chills,
headache, fatigue and muscle
aches.
Cause
Where did the Black Death come from?
The plague started in China then went to Europe and Britain in 1348.

How did it spread?


The bubonic plague was spereded by
bacteria carried by fleas that lived on black
rats.

Was the Black Death contagious?


Yes the Plague is contagious. You should stay a minimum of at least 3 meters away from
someone that has the plague. You should avoid touching infected tissues or body fluids from
a plague-infected person or animal.
