Candy Apples
You need: 6 sweet apples, 6 wooden sticks, 225 gr sugar, 110 ml oz water, 10 gr butter, 2 tea
spoon golden syrup, 1/4 tea spoon vanilla extract
Step:
Firstly press the wooden sticks into the end of the apple with the stalk/sticks.
Second, pour the water and sugar into a heavy pan, and apply a gentle heat.
Add butter, golden syrup and vanilla then bring to the boil, do not stir until the
mixture is all formed together (if the mixture has formed together, swirling the pan is
ok).
Remove the pan from the heat and dip your apple into the mixture and then rest them
with the stick on a plate for 7 minutes.
