2.) Three-ring binder/folder

Course Description:
Students will learn some basic elements of theater, including pantomime, character
development, monologue, duet acting, readers theater, and improvisation. Students will
write, create, and perform acting scenes and performances demonstrating mastery of
different theatrical styles, as well as learning to observe performances carefully, and to give
appropriate constructive criticism. Students will perform demonstrating a mastery of various
theater styles

Course Objectives: Students will learn to appreciate various styles of theater, as well as practicing and
performing in those styles. Students will collaborate on projects designed to give them
confidence in speaking before large groups, as well as training them in the art of acting and
theater. Students will create various performance pieces demonstrating mastery of various
types of theater and presentation.

Academic Dishonesty and Plagiarism: Hebron Christian Academy operates under a student led/faculty advised
honor code system. This system is designed for students to hold themselves and others to a high degree of
