Circumstances for Case #93-1189CFA4M-01
According to the Post Sentence Investigation dated 03/30/1994 on 03/10/1993 at approximately 9:44AM, the victim
was arriving to work. The victim parked his vehicle next to the employee entrance and exited his vehicle. At that
time, the subject approached the victim, produced a handgun, pointed the gun at close range, and shot the victim in
the chest approximately three times. The subject dropped the gun on the ground and walked to the front of the
office where a law enforcement officer was present, as abortion protesters were in the area. The subject told the
aw enforcement officer, “I just shot someone.” A witness stated that she observed the subject shoot the victim.
‘The victim was transported to a local hospital and died while in surgery.
‘The subject has never been paroled.
‘The subject is currently assigned as a houseman and has received mostly outstanding and above satisfactory work
ratings.

Daring the interview, the subject stated that his mother will accept him to live at her residence. He also had a
‘written statement for the Commission to consider.
‘This investigator recommends the subject be re-interviewed in January of 2018 for his effective interview, based on
the recommended PPRD. Based on the lack of DRs and program participation, this investigator recommends that
the subject be referred to the FIU Lifer’s program.
