November 12th-Annual Thanksgiving Basket Drives-please bring in canned goods, boxed food

Starting November 19th-December 10th, our Annual Angel Tree will be placed in the Narthex
(just a note through your generosity last year we proved gifts for over 30 men, women and
children with special needs!)

FREE THANKSGIVING MEAL
For anyone hungry for food,
fellowship, or both, please join us for a
Thanksgiving Day dinner for the entire
community. We will be serving from
12-2 p.m. Help is needed for
preparation and clean up. Please see
Pat Sells.
CHRISTMAS FLOWERS
The order form for the Christmas Poinsettias will be enclosed in the bulletin for the next two
Sundays. It is early but the deadline for the order is November 12th. Please consider purchasing a
flower to decorate the altar for the Christmas Eve service.

CHURCH WORKLIST
Ken Howell has put up a Church
Worklist on the bulletin board in the
Narthex. We need volunteers to help
complete these tasks. If you can spare
some time, please choose a task and
put a checkmark by the task after you
have completed it. Also, if you know
of something that needs to be done
and isnt on the list, please add to it.
Any help you can give will be greatly
appreciated!
THANKSGIVING BASKETS
As a tradition we are asking you
to bring in staple foods to share
with the people in need starting
on November 12th. Gifts will be
brought forward as an offering
during the worship service on
Sunday, November 19th. Baskets
will then be packed for several
deserving families.
MISSION PANTRY
The Mission Pantry is in constant need
of replenishing. Please bring in staple
foods and toiletries for those in need.
The Thanksgiving Offering benefits the Colleges,
Universities, Seminaries, and Divinity Houses
affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of
Christ).These learning communities are an extension
of the church, challenging students to understand and
respond to Gods call to serve.
The Special Offering will take place on Sunday, November 19th.
Please give generously.
