Informational Tasks

1- Look more closely at the instructions that the teacher gives while introducing the
learning centers:
If possible, video/pictures or audio record the teacher while she gives
instructions.
Write the sentences of the instructions that the teacher gives.
The instruction that the teacher gives the student are;
1. eyes on me.
2. listen to the teacher carefully.
3. If you want to talk or to answer raise your hand.
4. Dont talk while the teacher is talking.
5. Be polite.
Write your own instructions for one of your own lesson plans.
1. listen while I am talking to you.
2. raise your hands if you want to talk.
2- Describe the purpose of diagnostic assessment.

A) Identify the diagnostic tests the teacher uses in your TP placement. These might
be check lists, written observations. Photograph blank diagnostics, scan, print
and or upload to your e-portfolio.
My MST use the checklist to assess the students. Also, she observes the students
while they are doing the activities.
B) Look over the diagnostics again and identify which diagnostics are norm
referenced, criterion referenced, comparison of students ability, comparison of
student progress.
In her checklist, she has the students names when she wants to assess them, if
the student did really well and he understand the lesson she put tick next to his
name. if he did not understand she put next to his name.
3- Classroom Management

1. Describe two times when your classroom management was successful. Describe the
situation, learning objective and what the students were doing. Why was your
management successful?

When I taught the students, they were active, they were responding to me. However, when
they did the activity almost all of them did it right. I used a reward system to manage my
classroom. When I end the lesson. They achieved the learning objects because they
understood the lesson and I noticed that when I asked them few question about the lesson.

2. Describe something you would like to improve about your classroom management
(using routines, giving instructions, dealing with disruptive behavior, managing
groups,) Give suggestions (or talk to your MST or MCT) to improve your classroom
management.

I would like to improve the disruptive behavior in my classroom because, they


do much misbehaving and they are so hyper active. So, I would suggest my
MST doing many rewards. Also, I think my MST should use the helper hands in
the classroom especially for the hyperactive students, so they have something
to do.
