PURPOSE
The purpose of this assignment is to develop learners ability to differentiate between the
Common Law system and Civil Law system and to discuss the application of private law and public
law in Malaysia.

REQUIREMENT
Differentiate between the Common Law system and Civil Law system. Discuss the application of
private law and public law in Malaysia by choosing one type of private law and one type of public
law. Detailed and structured explanation is needed together with relevant examples.
