had to take part in this activity.
After ten minutes, Mr. Arifin told each group to redraft and expand the activities into a paragraph about job description. Mr Arifin
told the students that they had to put priority or the responsibilities, and use specific verbs related with the job. They did not need to write the
title of the paragraph with the name of the job.
Fifteen minutes after he asked each group to exchange their job description with another group. Then each group should guess the
name of the job and wrote it as the title of the paragraph they had just read. Then he asked each group to give feedback to the other groups
work whether they agreed or disagreed, and of the choice of verbs. The teachers role was as a mediator between the groups and gave some

The weaknesses of Mr. Arifins Lesson :

1. He did not pre-teach some of kinds of job that may be difficult for the students to know
the meanings. For example : Librarian, Carpenter, etc. (Mention at least one activity
that you would do if you were 1) a librarian, 2) a nurse, 3) a pilot.)

b. Give any suggestion to overcome the two weaknesses you have identified. Support your

My suggestion :

1. It may be easier for him to provide some pictures for the students to pre-teach some
kinds of job.
2. . I think before giving the students questions or task, we must make sure to explain well
about the lesson that we are going to give. He is supposed to explain about the job first.
Then, making examples of the good sentence then drill the students about it. Finally, we
