Conclusions

The hospitality industries is one of the largest employers and strongly

contributes to the local global economy. The principles of management
are globally applicable regardless of changing conditions of the hospitality
industries especially in the hotels business. Implementing principles of
management in the organization brings about a change and improve the
quality of business.

This 14 principles of management are mostly accepted and followed by

the modern methods relevant and treated valid even to this day. This is
because it is practical in the nature and result oriented for the hotel
industry. The hotel industry would work better with all of the 14 principles
applied with the usage of modern method. It has shown how Fayols
ninety-year-old theories are still relevant today. However not all of Fayols
principles are applied in modern organisations and some principles are
more useful in certain situations than others, so therefore these are more
rigorously applied.

These 14 principles are useful for effective management of business

activities and can be used to manage organizations and are useful tools
for forecasting, planning, process management, organization
management, decision-making, coordination and control.
Through this process the employees also develop communication skills,
which is a major issue in the service industry. Management should make
sure that the employees working for the organization expect and look for
awards for their work. That makes them more hospitable towards the
organization.
