Strategies:

Introduction:

2. They have to put that cube in the box and say the number until we reach to 20 and ask

them to tell me whats next if they know.

them why we write it like this.

4. I will display the numbers video to count together.

5. Finally, I will ask the children to come at the board and count alone.

Activities:

I will go to each group and describe the activities and then I will distribute students to groups

according to their level; each color will go to different group.

High level group (HAG)-Orange color: will have papers, pins and many cubes in the box and

children have to write their own sentence on the paper but the total number must be 25.

Middle level group (MAG1)-Pink color: will have pins, white board and card containing the

number 1 to 25 and students have to write the sentence by using the cube to count.

Next level group (MAG2)-Green color: each one of them will have pins, papers and 25 materials

and they have to make their own sentences by divide it the material in two groups and write it

done on the paper.

Low level group (LAG)-Low color: will have a worksheet contains 2 shapes groups and they have

to count each groups and write the total.

Plan B: children will go to extra group if they have finished. This group contains white board and

ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS (WHAT IF .?)

Might they feel its difficult to count from 21 to 25, so I will count with them many times.

Some children will feel bored while sitting and observing me, so I will let them participate with me by
teaching.

Some children might not understand the activity, so I will go around the group to give more instructions.

Some children might feel that the activity is hard because they didnt adapt to it, so I will ask the teachers
in class to help me; each teacher will take one group.
ASSESSMENT (WHAT DID ?)

To make sure that student can count from 1 to 25 I will ask some of them to count at the board when I have
finished the introduction.
Student will achieve my goal; do their own counting sentence. If they have finished the activity. And to make
sure I will go around the group look and listen to children count and say the total when 2 groups are combined.
Also I will ask few questions and see their understanding. For example, how much material do you have? How
you divide it and make your own sentence? Show me how you get these answers?
