The primary purpose of this Non- Protable Organization is to help the society in any possible
way. We undertake projects and organize events to serve the society and simultaneously
awaking people about various social issues, their duties and their rights.

OUR PROJECTS

ABC
Everyone has a right to be educated. But in our country, there are many children who have to
work from a very young age due to which, they are left uneducated. We teach the
unprivileged children and even prepare them for the competitive examinations.

YOUR STEP COUNTS

We collect books, clothes, stationary items, household items and various other required
things from different houses and give them to poor children and Old Age homes.

JAAGRITI
We go from door to door and aware them about new Government Policies and what kind of
privileges they can ask for from The Government of INDIA under different clauses. We try to
help them in tackling problems related to money, harassment, etc.

GIVE A SMILE
We visit Old Age Homes, Orphanages as well as schools for disabled to give a smile to their
faces and help them in every possible way we can.

MAGAZINE
Magazine project is to provide a platform to school and college students to show their
creativity and writing skill, to spread awareness about govt. policies and our NGO.
OUR PREVIOUS EVENTS

Aarambh
A school-level event was organized to explore the hidden talent of students from class 3rd to
10th by means of their paintings and writings. The event was held in about 25 schools of
Chandigarh. Students participated enthusiastically.

I have a story
An open competition was organized for story writing. The participation fees collected was
donated to an orphanage. A huge participation was received with stories varying from comic
to horror to romantic.

Ehsaas
Played a skit 'Sharaab-Ik Mittha Zeher' on 15 June 2014 at Vill. Kubaheri, Distt. Mohali,
Punjab. Huge crowd of spectators was present from the village and the neighboring villages,
including the village panchayat.

India through the lens

True India lies in its rich heritage and culture. Punarkriti provided the opportunity to
showcase photography skills highlighting the social and environmental issues plaguing the
society.

Kahaani
An online story, poem, article writing competition for PEC students where they were
supposed to submit entry on any social theme.

Health Camp
One day health checkup camp organized at Kartarasra on Nov, 2016. Doctors from sec-16, 19
Govt hospital were there to perform eye, dental and general checkup of orphans and old age
home people.
