Namayan Institute and Allies Meet in Manila Summit

CITY OF MANILA, PHILIPPINES Members of alternative political organizations, micronations, and the
Namayan Institute gathered together last 28 August in a low-key summit in Binondo, Manila.

Hosted by the Principality of Amaranth, the summit aimed to follow the success of PoliNation:
International Conference on Micronations which occurred in 2012 among mostly North American and
European micronations. PoliNation Philippines was adopted as the official title of the event. Discussions
ranged from knowing the current status of eachs organization to knowing how the organizations can
nurture and evolve.

This was the first time that a large number of people from the Filipino Micronational Community met in
person, and the first time that almost all micronations and alternative political organizations were able
to meet in person.

Attendees of the event are Luis Hayate Palay of Kaleido, Prince Maximus IV of Amaranth, Tsar Dmitry I
of Poblacion, Darwin Eugenio and Timothy Laranang of Namayan Institute. Other members of the
Namayan Institute based in Mindanao congratulated the organizers of the event for a successful
summit.
