Experience Matters
John B. Kuhn has more than 19 years of real estate experience, and most
recently operated JBK Commercial, Inc., a real estate brokerage company, and
JBK Properties, Inc., a development and property management company. Both
companies were founded in 2002 and were focused primarily on three projects
in Milwaukee and Waukesha, all of which will now be handled by Siegel-

While with JBK, Mr. Kuhn developed North Bay Shopping Center and
spearheaded the acquisition of Northeast Corporate Centre, both in Glendale,
WI. His other projects include the Spring City Commerce Center, a business park
in Waukesha, WI, which was created with Tax Incremental Financing, and the
acquisition, redevelopment, and disposition of an office building in Bedford,
OH for Leader Mortgage. In addition, Kuhn represented Safeway on the sale of
four Dominick’s food stores in Chicago. And, in partnership with US Bank, he
endeavored to build a high-rise office building adjacent to the US Bank Building
in downtown Milwaukee.
Prior to that, Mr. Kuhn was with Mandel Group, Inc., overseeing all aspects of the
Retail Division, including project entitlements, lease negotiations, and project
financing. Previously, Mr. Kuhn served as Senior Real Estate Manager with
American Stores Properties, Inc. (ASPI), a Utah-based development subsidiary
for American Stores, Inc., which owned and operated Jewel/Osco stores. While
with ASPI, Mr. Kuhn was in charge of the development of five new Jewel/Osco
stores, the acquisition and conversion of one Pick ‘n Save and four Cub Foods
stores, all in the metropolitan Milwaukee market.
