ST.

COLUMBA CATHOLIC CHURCH SAN DIEGO

August 29, 2010

Twenty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

Pastor’s Corner ~
We WELCOME BACK to St. Columba Catholic School
our students and their families for this new school year.
We hope that this will be another year of blessings and
growth for all of us. We WELCOME our new students
and families to the school and THANK YOU for
patronizing our school for your choice of Catholic
education.

THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS to all the

members of the Men’s Faith Group and for the support
of their wives for the success of the first Men’s
Breakfast and Fellowship. About 30 men enjoyed the
breakfast and fellowship the morning of August 14. We
hope to have more participation and more creative ways
towards a more enjoyable gathering next year.

Also, is was an ENJOYABLE REUNION for those

confirmed through the High School Confirmation
Program from 2005-2010, held last Saturday, August
21, 2010. This was the start of a more active and more RCIA
participative involvement of our young people in the
parish. I am sure that many parents will be supportive An Invitation
