1. How does I.I.I contribute in the field of Social Science? Cite 5 examples.

Inquiries, investigation and immersions will enable more data gathering and
collection of facts and evidences to support findings and theories These processes
help in analysis and formation of certain policies relevant or important to the well
being the community or society in general.

1. In Demography which deals with the study of births, deaths, income, incidence of disease
or the composition of human population, inquiries and investigations will help generate
information on population growth, population distribution and density. This can help in
the formulation for instance of policies of controlling population or the incidence of
diseases

2. Economics is concerned with the production, consumption and transfer of wealth.

Immersions and investigations will help in determining inflation and deflation rates, rate of
economic growth and can help determine a nations gross national and domestic product
figures helpful in economic planning

3. History is the study of the past as it is described in written documents. Research and
inquiries will help us understand what transpired in the past and how the current and
future generations are influenced or shaped by what took place long ago

4. Political science is a social science which deals with systems of governance and the
analysis of political activities, thought and behaviors. Inquiries, immersion and inquiries
will help us determine the political views and behavior of a particular group of people and
how they help shape the form of government. These will also help us understand how a
particular form of governance perform or function as a political machinery
5. Sociology is the study of the development, structure and functioning of human society.
With inquiries, investigations and immersions we are able to study and analyze social
problems and phenomena. We can understand how a certain organized group interact and
behave in terms of race, religion and social class.

2. How does it become relevant to your strand?

It become relevant in my strand Humanities and Social Science because the

investigation is especially important in our strand you need to be blunt and discover
more things. Investigation is also important in research because we study the
individuals and our society. As a student, many more we need to be explored. As a
student of humanities and social science it is hard to understand each one of us
because we have our own beliefs and practices in life. we need to think about our
surroundings if we are doing bad things. Investigation, inquiries and immersion
have important role to me as students and citizens should be the cultures and
beliefs of others to be respected and who they are.
