1 General:
1.1 Purpose:
The purpose of this method of statement is to guide and implement the standard
installation procedure of sanitary fixture for IP Office
1.2 Specification and BOQ:
Based on Contract document
1.3 Referred drawings:
Construction drawings of IP Office.
2 Scope of works:
The sanitary fixtures included all toilet area fixtures and pantry sink.
3 Construction procedure and method statement:
3.1. Scope of the manual
The scope of method statement covers Sanitary Fixtures Schedule, Accessories

Schedule, and Method of Installation, including detailed Standard Information for
Plumbing related work. Works will be carried out base on construction schedule and
approved shop drawings for M&E work for building at Long Duc Industrial Park such
as IP Office.
3.2 Execution of the work

3.2.2. Execution
i. Preparation.
- Checks all shop drawings and confirm latest drawings are used.
- Confirm all material procured against material approval list.
- Ensure that fabrication details and methods are fully comprehended by the
workers.
- Prepare and check sanitary fixtures and necessary accessories including anchor
bolts for fixtures supports.
- Prepare tools and equipment such as, electric drilling machine, bar bubble level.
- Prepare safety signs and secure barricade working area.
- Workers with personal safety equipment.
ii. Sanitary Fixtures Installation works
Water closet installation

- Coordinate schedule of wall and floor finishing work before installation.

- Prepare protection for concrete floor slab area wooden sheet or plastic sheet for
protection.
- Mark anchor location point for support fix connection.
- Drill for anchor bolts setting and bracket support installation.
- Set install Water Closet bowl level check and fix tight anchor bolt.
- Set fix tank assembly flush lever and tank fittings and tighten joint.
- Connect angle valve and flexible hose for water supply.
- Recheck all joint connection tightness and proceed to water test.
- Clean up installed equipment and apply silicon around the water closet bowl.

- Set install Wash Basin level check and fix tight anchor bolt.
- Set fix faucet, install angle valve, and flexible hose for water supply.
- Connect p-trap wash basin drain to wall PVC pipe and keep tight connection, seal
gap to PVC with sealant or rubber and cover with escutcheon plate.
- Recheck all joint connection tightness and proceed to water test.

- Coordinate schedule of wall finishing work before installation.

- Mark anchor location point for support (bracket) fix connection.
- Set initial install Urinal, level check and fix tight anchor bolt.
- Set fix drain pipe sealer and re-install urinal fixtures, check level and tightness of
bracket support.
- Set fix flush valve for water supply.
- Recheck all joint connection tightness, apply silicon around urinal and proceed to
water test.
iii. Testing works
Water closet test operation
- Open Isolation valve and check all angle valve connection of fixtures for leak. If
leak repair connection immediately and proceed to testing.
- Test flush tank operation and adjust ball float valve for volume requirement.
- Check tank connection for leak.
- Repeat 3 times flushing for visual inspection.
Wash basin testing of joint connection
- Open Isolation valve and check all angle valve connection of fixtures for leak. If
leak repair connection immediately and proceed to testing.
- Plug drain of wash basin and fill up water up to overflow rim
- Unplug drain and check p trap connection for leak.
- Repeat 3 times for visual inspection.
- Regulate faucet water supply pressure through angle valve, minimized volume
water not to splash to wash basin when you open faucet.
Urinal test operation
- Open Flush valve and check all flush valve connection of fixtures for leak. If leak
repair connection immediately and proceed to testing.
- Test flush valve operation and adjust for volume requirement.
- Check drain connection for leak.
- Repeat 3 times flushing for visual inspection.

6. Inspection and test procedure:
6.1 Purpose and Scope
We will follow the Management System and Quality Control plan
Sanitary fixtures inspection procedure
- Checking sanitary fixtures and accessories before installation

- Setting out location and level as per approval plan.
- Install sanitary fixtures and accessories, following correction procedure as
per method of statement
- Final inspection
6.2 Procedure
Form Material-Equipment request for approval: RFA-LDIP-P4-MS-BW-M-06,

Inspection and Testing Plan: ITP-LDIP-P4-MS-BW-M-06, Internal Inspection
Checklist: IIC-LDIP-P4-MS-BW-M-06, Request For Inspection: RFI-LDIP-P4-MS-BW-
M-06 and Photo Report shall be used to verify the works.
Verification is that the drawings are Good for Construction and that all formalities of
works are complied with:
Construction drawings/ working drawings, site instruction

Requirement of technical specification, inspection flowcharts
Completion of previous works and supplementary works
Request of inspection (item, place, time, attendant, stage)
Equipment/ plant/ instruments used for inspection/ test
The Site Engineer shall ensure that permit to work is issued from the construction
drawing and working drawing prior to commencing for each stage and also prior
permission to placement of each layer of material is issued by the Engineer if any.

7. Safety control:
As per the contractors safety obligations and policy, we will follow our
Occupational, Health, Safety and Rehabilitation plan and our Project Safety
Plan.
Take care when workers working over-head (installation of high level conduit).
Take care when workers doing on scaffolding.
Take care when workers doing with electrical equipment and welding machine.
Take care of building work surrounding.
8. Environmental control
We shall follow our Environment Management system
All works will be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the approved
Environmental Management Plan.
