With the improvement and advancement of technology as well as the algorithms of personal

identification ,Researches have turned to the iris recognition techniques. An iris recognition

system, generally contains a locating block, the objective of this block is to provide the

information corresponding to the iris with clarity [1], [2], [3], [4]. A personal identification

system is run in real time, and less processing time is required. For the detection of the pupil and

the iris the simple algorithmic method is used. in this article, we propose a fast algorithm that

requires less memory usage. The results obtained are compared with the other methods and

algorithms which, because of their insertion, tend to present higher processing time and high

memory consumption.
